Step 1.Warming up
活動:復習植物各部分名稱:roots,stems,leaves,flowers,seeds,fruits,plant
We have learnt the different parts of the plants.Do you remember,let’shave a competition.
1.看圖說出植物各部分的名稱。

2.Word puzzle.

設計意圖:激活認知,復習鞏固,為后面表達做好知識儲備。
3.They are the different the parts of the plant.
We can make a plant with theses parts.Please come here and make it.
出示圖片:

They are peanuts.I like eating them.
We get most of our food from the plants.
Where do we get the food?
Maybe Lingling and her uncle are talking about the food.Let’s have a look.
Step 2.Presentation and practice
活動一:Show the picture.
活動目標:通過觀察主題圖,了解對話談論的內容。
設計意圖:通過看圖片回答問題,了解對話談論的主題。


1.Maybewecangetthe answer from the 1st dialogue and try to answer:
(1)Where are they?
(2)Where do we get our food?
(3)理解 most of our food的含義。
(4)理解example的含義。
(5)Canyougivemean example of the food?(指導朗讀)
按意群分組;連讀指導parts of,come from;復數表示某一類概念和朗讀指導。
2. Listen to the 2nd dialogue and answer:
(1)These foods come from different parts of plants.(理解其含義)
(2)理解“Can you give me an example of ________?For example, ______and _______ .”的含義。
Peanuts are seeds, and potatoes are stems.Tomatoes are fruits,answer(板書):
—Can you give me an example of the ____?
—For example,_________and__.

設計意圖:把課文作為聽力材料和閱讀材料,提高學生的聽、讀能力,并幫助學生進一步理解所學課文。
活動二:Practice.正確朗讀課文。
1.Listen and repeat.

2.Look at the book and try to read the dialogue.
3.Pair work.
Step 3.Production
活動一:分角色朗讀課文。
It’s show time.You can choose one dialogue.
活動二:總結對課文的理解,進行功能句擴展練習。
From the dialogue,we know we eat the different parts of the plant.We eat seeds,stems and fruits.How about leaves?
Can you give me an example of the leaves?


活動三:Make a Vegetables Book.
通過制作Vegetables Book,把英語課堂上學到的知識延伸到生活中去,豐富生活經驗,增長科學知識。

1.示范。
教師出示自己完成的vegetable picture。
2.講解步驟。
(1) There are many vegetables here. Please read them.
(2)Choose a part,and find the vegetables.

(3)Discussing and stick them.
(4)Write the sentences.
3.Finish the picture.
4.Share.
(1)Which part do you choose?Can you give me an example of the__?

(2)把同一組完成的幾個部位釘在一起,成為一本“Vegetables Book”并展示。
Step 4.Homework
1.繼續完成“Vegetables Book”的制作,可以補充其他的同部位蔬菜或者換個部位介紹。
2.有些蔬菜食用的不止一個部位,查找后準備下節課展示。
3.將完成的“Vegetables Book”向四年級學生展示,為他們高年級的學習打基礎。
