1.T:What did you do last night?
S1:I watched TV.
S2:I did homework.
T:Do you know what I did last night?You can guess.(多名學生猜測后,教師揭曉答案)Look at this picture.Last night,I had a dream.I dreamed I was a panda.


T:What did I dream?Let’s watch a video.

設計意圖:通過讓學生猜測教師夢見什么,引出《功夫熊貓》視頻,學生隨著生動活潑的動畫故事和歡快的背景配樂很快進入夢境,初次體會本課主題“What a dream”。
2.Game:觀看視頻后,課件出示以下圖片,讓學生看部分圖片猜一猜:What did the panda do in the dream?


設計意圖:通過游戲方式,總結與檢測學生對視頻內容的理解,激發其學習動機,也為引出本課主題內容作鋪墊。
Step 3.Presentation
1.T:Was my dream funny?
S:Yes.
T:What a funny dream!(說完后板書本課標題:What a dream!)
Last night,Wu Yifan had a dream,too.How was the dream?Please look at the picture in Page 38.

讓學生觀察圖片的同時,回答以下問題:
T:What did Wu Yifan do in picture 1?
Ss:He ran.
T:What did he look like?
Ss:A cheetah.(可能學生會回答成tiger或其他動物,教師在此時利用簡筆畫和Phonics方法教授此單詞,簡筆畫如下圖)

設計意圖:掃清閱讀障礙,為更好地學習課文作鋪墊。
T:Who was this man in Picture 2?
Ss:His father.
T:WhathappenedtoWu Yifan in Picture 3?
Ss:He fell.
設計意圖:利用課文插圖,情境自然引入,培養學生觀察圖片的能力,指導他們建立生詞與事物表象的聯系,有助于學生形成形象思維方式,豐富他們的想象力。
2.首次閱讀:聽錄音,給圖片排序。
再次閱讀:學生自讀課文,完成以下五個問題,并在文中畫出答案。
(1) WhodidWuYifan have a race with?
(2)Who ran fast?
(3)What did Robin give Wu Yifan?
(4)What happened when Wu Yifan drank some water?
(5)Why did he wake up?
此環節請學生回答每一個問題時,教師都會緊接著問:How do you know that?引導學生說說找出答案的方法。每回答一個問題,教師則利用思維導圖板書。其中,在回答問題e時,利用簡筆畫解釋tripped and fell,如圖:

設計意圖:應用思維導圖在有趣的情境中整體操練和鞏固語言,在單詞、句子和語篇之間建立聯系,幫助學生梳理、歸納和總結知識點,從而促進學生綜合語言運用能力的有效提升。
3.第三次閱讀:Read aloud with emotion.(在朗讀中體味文章的情感和內涵)
4.第四次閱讀:完成P39練習。
5.第五次閱讀:看思維導圖復述課文(教師先示范一次,并給學生一分鐘時間討論,再請個別學生展示)
設計意圖:通過五次不同方式的閱讀,從略讀到精讀,層層遞進,促進學生對閱讀材料中語言的吸收,培養學生創造性地組織語言和輸出信息的能力。
Step 4.Consolidation and extension
1. T:Just now,we have learnt Wu Yifan’s dream.Now let’s talk about our dream.First of all,let me try.此時,再次播放《功夫熊貓》視頻,教師邊看視頻邊配以下旁邊:
I had a dream last night.In my dream,I was a panda.I climbed mountains in the morning.Then I went boating.In the afternoon,I went swimming.Then Uncle Goat took me to the boat.I flew in the sky and I went to the forest.At last,Uncle Goattookmehome.Whata dream!
設計意圖:教師通過為動畫配音來講述自己的夢,從而激發學生的興趣,為接下來學生即將講述自己的夢境起示范作用。
2.讓學生發揮想象力,與同伴說說自己做過的夢,并完成P39的小作文。
3.展示部分學生的作文,給予有針對性的評價與指導。
Step 5.Summing
教師總結本課重難點,對學生當天課堂表現給予評價。
Step 6.Homework
復述Wu Yifan和自己的夢境。
