備課背景
九年級下學期的大部分時間是用在復習所學過的知識并予以總結歸類。在五月份英語口語考試前的一次口語訓練中,我發現同學們對于話題中的人物是出了什么狀況還會回答,但是對于這些狀況應該給出什么樣的建議予以解決卻顯得手足無措。口語考試一般難度不會太深,所以但是只是簡單的花了五六分鐘給同學們復習總結了一下。后來又在同學們寫作的過程中發現他們在給別人建議時,所以的句型都是千篇一律的“should,can”之類的“初級”句型,而忘了他們其實學了很多可以給建議的句型:
Youd better…
Why dont you…?
Why not…?
How about…?
What about…?
You are supposed to…
If I were you, I would…
如果在給建議時能用上幾個而不是一個單一的句型,那么文章就不會看起來單一蒼白了。考慮到中考作文主題是“解決困擾麻煩”的可能性還是比較大的,所以我覺得很有必要給同學們上這一個《麻煩和建議》話題的復習課。
教學目標
By the end of the session, most Ss will be able to: 1) ask questions about problems.2) give advice to different problems.3) use different sentences structures to give advice.These will be achieved by:
a)Show the pictures of different problems.At last Ss can know what problems they are and how to solve them.
b)Show different situations, students talk about them, at last students can make dialogues of problem solving.
c)Review different sentence structures of how to give advice,at last students can use them freely.
d)Students will write a letter to someone who needs help.
