聽力是言語交際能力的重要方面,是獲得語言感受的主要途徑,是提高說、讀、寫能力的基礎,是學習英語,提高英語交際能力的必備條件。教師應把聽力教學貫穿在平時的每一節英語課中,使學生逐步養成良好的聽英語的習慣。
1.Holidays,play a game
T:Do you like playing games?Lets play a game.
Ask three students to come to the front.
讀兩遍,學生搶答。
T:They are holidays. Its on the first day of January.
S:New Years Day.
T:People usually eat the moon cakes and watch the moon.
S:Mid-Autumn Festival.
T:People usually dress up in costumes and go to parties.
S:Halloween.
T:Children usually colour the eggs and play games with their parents.
S:Ester.
T:Its in January or February.Its a very important holiday in China.S:Spring Festival...
從教學的效果看,還是不錯的。學生通過聽,能準確判斷出所聽內容表示的是什么節日。但是,從培養學生聽力的角度來看,就存在著這么幾個問題:(1)每一組句子的呈現只有一次,缺乏應有的重復,對水平一般的學生來說,起不到提高聽力水平的作用;(2)用一組的句子整體呈現,在難度上缺少相應的階梯,這樣的練習就只能讓少部分的學生得益,而多數學生的聽力能力得不到明顯提高。聽的材料多,而學生的反應機會少,使教師難以及時準確地把握全體學生聽的效果,對下一步的學習就相應的缺少正確的指向。
2.At a PE lesson教學片段
T:Lets play a game.
Ss:Great.
T:(發出指令)Touch your arms with your hands.
Ss:(邊做動作邊復述)Touch my arms with my hands.
(這時有學生做錯了,就請他上講臺發指令,其他學生做動作。)
S1:Touch your toes with your fingers.
S2:(邊做動作邊復述)Touch my toes with my fingers.
S3:Touch your nose with your fingers...
T:(出示一玩具機器人)This is my robot.
Please listen carefully and then repeat what I said.
Look at my robot. It has a small head. It has long arms. It has thin legs...
S1:Look at my robot.
S2:It has a small head.
S3:It has long arms.
T:Now,take out a piece of paper and pencils. Please listen carefully and draw a picture.(教師逐句放錄音,學生邊聽邊畫,畫完后在小組內欣賞交流。)
在這個教學設計過程中,教師以教材為本,但又活化了教材。教師靈活運用學生喜聞樂見的聽音做動作來鞏固所學的身體部位單詞。在教學句型It has...時采用了教師先示范,然后請學生把聽到的話一字不差地復述出來的方法。聽音讓學生重復所聽到的內容,可以訓練聽力的精確性,并培養正確的語音、語調,提高聽覺記憶力。……
