小游戲在初中英語教學(xué)中的靈活應(yīng)用

摘 要：培養(yǎng)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)興趣歷來是教育界共同關(guān)心的課題。本文從初中學(xué)生的生理、心理及年齡特點(diǎn)出發(fā)，在英語教學(xué)中精心設(shè)計(jì)一些喜聞樂見、淺顯易懂且貼近生活的小游戲，使學(xué)生在快樂中學(xué)習(xí)并得到樂趣，進(jìn)而取得良好的教學(xué)效果。

為了使學(xué)生擁有更多使用英語的場合和機(jī)會，進(jìn)行有意義的交際活動，必須向?qū)W生提供一個(gè)較好的外語學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境。英語課堂游戲正好提供了這樣一個(gè)學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境。各種精心設(shè)計(jì)、豐富多彩的小游戲提高了初中學(xué)生對英語的學(xué)習(xí)興趣與理解能力，鞏固了學(xué)生的記憶。

一、小游戲使課堂活動組織新穎而多變

1.座位的編排

一是按英文名的字母表順序分組，二是按生日的先后分組，三是按身材的高矮分組，四是按對音樂喜好的程度分組，五是根據(jù)晚上入睡時(shí)間的早晚排序分組，六是按視覺型學(xué)習(xí)者、聽覺型學(xué)習(xí)者與觸覺型學(xué)習(xí)者分組。這種分組編能給學(xué)生創(chuàng)造良好的語言交流環(huán)境，方便學(xué)生的交流，使學(xué)生在新奇的環(huán)境中互相學(xué)習(xí)，互相促進(jìn)。

2.小組的合作

在小組活動中，學(xué)生需要學(xué)會與不同的人交合作，需要各顯神通，發(fā)揮想象力與創(chuàng)造力，實(shí)現(xiàn)資源優(yōu)化配置，爭取高效率、高質(zhì)量地完成小組任務(wù)。這樣，每一個(gè)學(xué)生充分地參與到課堂實(shí)踐中來，充分體現(xiàn)出語言的交際性，實(shí)現(xiàn)了師生之間、學(xué)生之間的互動。這既促進(jìn)師生之間的情感交流，又幫助學(xué)生培養(yǎng)起互相關(guān)心、合作的團(tuán)隊(duì)精神。

二、運(yùn)用小游戲使生硬的詞匯教學(xué)變得圓潤而通透

小游戲?qū)W習(xí)是一種集知識性與趣味性于一體的快樂學(xué)習(xí)方式，游戲教學(xué)能使初中學(xué)生在愉快輕松的氛圍中學(xué)習(xí)，給他們帶來歡樂，帶來自信，帶來動力和成就感。下面筆者介紹平時(shí)教學(xué)中自己常用的兩種詞匯教學(xué)小游戲。

1.Taboo game

Game steps：

·A group of four

·Write down some words or phrases on sheets of paper （by te- acher）

·Put a sheet of paper on the forehead of a student who cant see the word on the paper.The other three students describe the word in English ，use gestures or say out the synonym.Let the first student guess the word or phrase on the forehead.

·After guessing out the word or phrase， take turns to be the first student to guess the words or phrases.

·The winner is the group with the most words or phrases.

例如：猜“apple pie”

其他三位學(xué)生可以這樣提示：①Two words②The first word is a fruit like a love star（using gestures） or it is a kind of mobile phone.③The second word.We often say people eat pumkin __ on Thanksgiving Day.

筆者經(jīng)常把這個(gè)游戲應(yīng)用于課前的單詞復(fù)習(xí)。很好地鍛煉了學(xué)生口語表達(dá)能力。

2. Venn Diagram（commons and uniques）

Game steps：

·A group of four

·Prepare a sheet of paper and a pen each

·Show students two pictures、two things、two real persons 、two tapes of videos or two pieces of music and so on

·Write down words or phrases as many as possible while observing＼ comparing ＼watching＼ listening.

·Discuss in group and the leader fills in the diagram.

·A student of a group comes to the front to report the result.

能聽會說是英語教學(xué)的兩大基本功。怎樣才能激發(fā)學(xué)生的聽說興趣呢？這仍然離不開上課中的小游戲。

1.Candy game

（1）Enclose the seats to a cirle.（2）Give each student a sheet of clean paper.（3）Let students take candies as many as they want from a bowl（holding by teacher） with a spoon.（4）Then ask students to say sentences as many as candies about their looks/hobbies/families/ages and so on by describing themselves/their families/their classmates/friends.One candy a sentence or a story. They cant eat candies until finishing describing.

這種游戲既加深了學(xué)生之間的了解，促進(jìn)了師生之間的和諧，又培養(yǎng)了學(xué)生聽說能力。

2.Back to screen game

（1）A group of two .（2）Show half of a flash story with turning off the voice.（3）One student facing the screen will describe what happens in the story，the other student back to the screen listens and writes down the sentences that the facing student says.（4）Using the sentences， the student back to the screen makes a story .（5）Switch the seat and finish the other half.（6）One student comes to the front and retells the story to the whole class.（7）Show the whole flash story to the students. （8）The best story is winner.

學(xué)生在這個(gè)游戲中，不僅被強(qiáng)化了聽說能力，還培養(yǎng)了觀察、描述和編故事的能力，還做到了動手、動口和動腦。學(xué)生特別感興趣。
