關(guān)于一首舊詩(shī)的新散文

一天，一首舊詩(shī)被風(fēng)吹走了，它的詩(shī)人如釋重負(fù)，因?yàn)楝F(xiàn)在他再也不必對(duì)它吹毛求疵了。

那首詩(shī)總是太好而無(wú)法扔掉，然而，還是好得不足以發(fā)表。

那首詩(shī)跟他生活在一起，時(shí)不時(shí)要求他重新考慮

但即便如此，他也明白自己清除不掉那首舊詩(shī)，因?yàn)轱L(fēng)又反向把它吹回到他的書桌上。

那首舊詩(shī)樂(lè)于回家，想重新被閱讀。

那位詩(shī)人閱讀，再一次意識(shí)到它太好而無(wú)法扔掉。他覺(jué)得也許會(huì)在下一封郵件中把它發(fā)出去，當(dāng)然，他知道不會(huì)那樣做，也知道自己在余生中將繼續(xù)對(duì)它吹毛求疵……

NEWPROSEABOUTANOLDPOEM

One day an old poem is carried away by the wind. Its poet is relieved，now he won’t have to be nice to it anymore.

The poem was always too good to throw away， yet， not good enough to publish.

It lived with him demanding to be reconsidered every so often.

But，even so，he sees that he’s not to be rid of the old poem， thewind in reverse has returned itto hisdesk.

The old poem is glad to be home，and wants to be read again.

The poet reads it and realizes once again that it’s too good to be thrown away.Perhaps，he thinks，he'll send it out in the next mail， knowing，of course，that he won't；and that he'll have to go on being nice to it for the rest of his life..**

描寫

花園中，有一個(gè)坐在椅子上的老人起身。

起初，他的禿頭像一個(gè)皮革之蛋那樣突破泥土。日復(fù)一日，眉毛和不眨動(dòng)的眼睛漸漸長(zhǎng)出來(lái)灰白的頭發(fā)，塞滿泥土的耳朵，鼻子，鼻孔中黏附著泥土；然后是肩頭，肩頭周圍的披巾，鑲飾著泥土和甲蟲的椅背。

THEDESCRIPTION

In a garden there arose an old man sitting in a chair.

At first，breaking the earth like a leather egg，his bald head. Day by day， gradually the brow and the unblinking eyes pushed out.*

The grey hair，the earth filled ears，the nose，earth clinging to the hairs in the nose; then the shoulders， the shawl about the shoulders， the back of the chair encrusted with earth and beetles.

In the moonlight an old man half buried in the earth.In the dawn a man sitting in a shallow sea of mist.

When he had risen completely there was green mold on his shoes and fingernails.

One night we saw him yawn.He stood，and walked quietly away.

For some time now his chair has been sinking back into the earth.Wewonderif itisnotsomekind of elevator ofthe dead.

頭上長(zhǎng)樹的人

一個(gè)男人把一個(gè)女人的高跟鞋娶了七年。

他不喜歡被人說(shuō)道，因?yàn)檫@把他頭上的頭發(fā)弄混淆了，他的頭，無(wú)論何時(shí)都有一種要變成草叢的傾向，他把自己的頭藏在他種植在他身體部位上的野花下面，藏在那些從他的頭顱后面生長(zhǎng)的灌木叢下面。最后被一棵櫻桃樹加頂，他因?yàn)榉纯桂囁溃鴱哪强脵烟覙渖铣詵|西。

AMANWITHATREEONHISHEAD

A man had been married to a woman's high-heeled shoe for sevenyears.

He did not like to be spoken to because it confused the hair on hishead which had a tendency to become grass when ever it tended that way，which it was anyway，which he hid under wild flowers he let grow in his part，hiding those under bushes growing from the back of his head， topped finally by a cherry tree from which he ate as opposed to starving to death.

He would wrap his wife in newspaper whenever he did so.

Ifhe heard a street noise he heard a street noise.

If he heard a cow moo he heard a cow moo and that settled it， it was not a dog barking. Or was it. Or a dog learned to speak cow. Or a cow pretending to be a dog speaking cow- -And something very much to think about.

A cloud was once in the sky as he remembers and he looked up at it，or was it a cow barking.

The shoe asked him to leave the house and he did so and snuck back through a window and watched the shoe going to the bathroom.

制造夢(mèng)幻的人

制造夢(mèng)幻的人說(shuō)他要制造夢(mèng)幻。他有一個(gè)盒子和一臺(tái)鐘。在星期三，他有一臺(tái)要上緊發(fā)條的鐘。

一只蘋果很像櫻桃一樣更大，它是非常相同的東西。

DREAMMAN

Dream man said he will do dreams.He has a box and a clock. He has a clock to wind when it is Wednesday.

An apple is very cherry bigger，it is very something the same.

And dream man said he will do dreams，he will do boxes Now can you hide there， yes you can. And the clock which can go tick.

If somebody who loves you does not love you and there isvery nothing to do like you will wind on Wednesday or apple as a cherry is as is an apple as a cherry.

Can you hide，I think so.Can you think so，I think so.In a box to hide.

Can you do a box like you can a dream if somebody who loves you does not love you.

You can do a dream like she loves you.

Dream man will dream he is not dreaming and dream himself awake and wind his clock which makes it Wednesday and he hasa box.
