“Practical Map” and “Theoretical Pedigree” of Journalism and Communication Education: Comment on Introduction to Journalism and Communication Education by Prof. ZhangKun

Abstract: For more than a hundred years, with the intensification of social change, media transformation and technological iteration, the connotation and boundary of Journalism and communication education have been continuously reshaped. In the context of the new era, it is particularly urgent to rethink journalism and communication education. In this context, Professor Zhang Kuns new book introduction to journalism and communication education is very timely and of great significance. The book constructs the “practical map” and “theoretical pedigree” of Journalism and communication education through the “ten theories” of Journalism and communication education, such as essence theory, mission theory, subject theory, object theory, reform theory and culture theory. In addition, the books highlights and features are high standing, far-reaching, double connection and personal thinking. The introduction to journalism and communication education based on it has a sense of massiness and responsibility.

摘 要:百余年來,隨著社會變革、媒體轉型以及技術迭代的加劇,新聞傳播教育的內涵與邊界不斷被重塑。在新的時代背景下如何重思新聞傳播教育尤為迫切。如是語境下,張昆教授新 著《新聞傳播教育導論》十分及時,且意義重大。該書通過新聞傳播教育之本質論、使命論、 主體論、對象論、改革論、文化論等“十論”,建構新聞傳播教育的“實踐地圖”與“理論譜系”。此外,站位高立意遠、雙重勾連、切身之思是該書的亮點與特色,建基于此的《新聞傳播教育 導論》多了一份厚重感和責任感。

一、呼應大變革時代之需
在 2021 年 9 月召開的中央人才工作會議上習近平總書記深刻地指出,“國家發展靠人才, 民族振興靠人才。我們必須增強憂患意識,更加重視人才自主培養”?。就新聞傳播教育而言, 習近平總書記曾指出:“媒體競爭關鍵是人才競爭,媒體優勢核心是人才優勢。”b 歷史性地看,從 1918 年 10 月至今,中國的新聞傳播教育已逾百年歷程,彼時,我國著名報人邵飄萍、徐寶璜、黃遠生等先賢辦報之余,紛紛走向講臺,親授采、寫、編、評等新聞實務技能和理論知識。……
