摘要:本次授課內(nèi)容為外研社《英語》(新標準)小學三年級起點第5冊第7模塊第1單元(He cant see)第1課時。

一、 教材分析
在五年級上學期這一階段,教學內(nèi)容主要是復習鞏固以前學過的內(nèi)容和繼續(xù)擴展學習新的內(nèi)容。第七模塊第一單元是以Dogs為主線,講述了狗在日常生活中是非常有用的,讓學生能從殘疾人勵志成功的例子上感受到天助自助者,感恩自己是正常人進而努力奮斗并且提高和動物們和諧共處的意識,以及如何用can和cant表達能做和不能做的事情。
二、 教學目標
1. 使學生能正確認讀單詞:blind, deaf, hear, useful, her, firefighters。
2. 能聽懂,讀、會說句型:She/He cant...,能正確運用can和cant表達能做和不能做的事情,達到綜合運用語言的能力。
3. 通過課文學習,讓學生進一步使用He cant..., but he can...并靈活運用,培養(yǎng)學生在生活中的責任感,愛護動物,關(guān)愛殘疾人,助人為樂的良好品質(zhì)。
三、 教學重點
1. 正確認讀單詞:blind, deaf, hear, useful, her, firefighters。
2. 掌握句型:He is blind. He cant see. She is deaf. She cant hear. Can we have a dog? No, we cant.
四、 教學難點
1. 在真實的情境中正確運用can和cant表達自己和他人能做和不能做的事情。
2. 賓格him, her的使用,并結(jié)合本課內(nèi)容進行活學活用。
3. 以課文為載體,幫助學生養(yǎng)成珍愛生命、健康生活、助人為樂等核心素養(yǎng)。

PPT、卡紙、圖片、小組活動所用材料等。
六、 教學設計
Step 1: Warmingup and leadin
1. Greetings.
2. Enjoy a song “Yes, I can”.(復習舊知,引出問題)
T: The birds can . The fish can . Boys and girls can .(學生根據(jù)所聽歌曲做出相應回答。)
3. Brainstorming.
T: I can sing and dance, too. What can you do? Ss: I can...(引導學生邊說邊做)
T: Wonderful! You can do a lot. What about dogs?(過渡到主題)
4. T: Enjoy some pictures about dogs.(引出chant里的句子)
Teach and read the sentences: Dogs are useful. They can do/help a lot.(單詞卡片呈現(xiàn)并教授a lot/useful)
5. Listen and chant together.
【設計意圖】為課文學習搭橋,降低難度。讓學生在看、聽和說chant的過程中對文本中關(guān)于狗幫助人類的行為有一個初步的感知。
Step 2: Presentation
1. T: Dogs are very useful. Today we are going to learn something about dogs of Module 7 Unit 1 He cant see.(寫課題和dogs于黑板上)
2. T: Look! Lingling, Sam and Amy are watching a TV show.(用圖片introduce TV, TV presenter, TV show)
T: Watch the TV show and fill in the blanks.
1)Theres a TV show about .
2)The presenter says,“Dogs are very .”
【設計意圖】學習課文之前呈現(xiàn)本課的任務,讓學生在任務的驅(qū)動下學習新知,最后運用所學新知完成任務,以達到學以致用的目的。
3. Listen, point and say.
1)T: Why are dogs useful? Listen to the text, try to underline the answers with your pen.
2)T: Listen for the second time, try to discuss your answers with your partner.
【設計意圖】由TV presenter所說的話中的useful為線索,提出本文的核心問題:Why are dogs useful?通過問題為學生搭建語言學習的支架,鍛煉學生提取有效信息的能力。
4. Text learning.
1)教師指導學生看第一幅圖片和文本內(nèi)容。
T: Look at picture 1. Why is the dog useful?
S1: This man is blind. He cant see. This dog helps him.
用blind單詞卡片教讀并用原音跟讀,并學習從而進一步理解其含義。Let students try to read: kind, find, blind,正確掌握音標發(fā)音。
T: Well done!教師教讀,并問Who can say this picture?
Ss: This man is blind. He cant see.
This dog helps him.(板書于黑板上引導學生齊讀、小組讀、點幾名學生讀。)
【設計意圖】教師呈現(xiàn)新授單詞和句型之后,幫助學生理解cant可以描述能力的不足,從整體到局部、從全體到個體,關(guān)注每位學生的學習差異。
2)教師指導學生看第二幅圖片和文本內(nèi)容。
T: Look at picture 2. Why is the dog useful?
Ss: This girl is deaf. She cant hear.
This dog helps her.
T: Look at me,(輕聲拍掌)Can you hear? Ss: NO.
T: T(稍大聲拍掌)Can you hear? Ss: Yes.
T: (大聲拍掌)Can you hear? Ss: Yes.
T: Just now, you use your ears to hear, but this girl cant hear.用單詞卡片和原音教讀hear, deaf,并教寫hear,拼讀單詞:hear, near, pear, bear.
T帶讀This girl is deaf. She cant hear. This dog helps her.
T: Who can say this picture?
Ss: This girl is deaf. She cant hear. This dog helps her.
教師板書并點其他學生說這一圖片This girl is deaf. She cant hear. This dog helps her.
3)Look and say.
1. This boy is . He . This man .(PPT呈現(xiàn)一位男士幫助一位盲童讀書。)
2. This girl is . He . This doctor .(PPT呈現(xiàn)一位醫(yī)生在幫失聰女孩測試聽力。)
【設計意圖】讓學生運用所學的知識訓練句型,做到學以致用,提高語用能力。
4)教師指導學生看第三幅圖片和文本內(nèi)容。
T: The dogs helped the blind man, the deaf girl. The dogs are useful.
T: How about this dog? Why is it useful?
Ss: Last week, there was a fire. This dog helped the firefighters.
T拿卡片教讀fire, firefighters,并拿卡片背面的圖片教授學生說出Last week, there was a fire. This dog helped the firefighters.
教師手拿圖片問幾組學生,引導學生說出Last week, there was a fire. This dog helped the firefighters.
教師總結(jié)The dogs helped the blind man, the deaf girl and the firefighters. They are useful.
5)T: Do you want to have a dog? Ss: Yes, we do.
T: Can we have a dog? Ss: Yes, we can.
T: How about Sam? Try to find what Sam ask and what Ms Smart answer on your books.
T介紹hotdogs的構(gòu)成并教讀hotdogs. They are sausages and bread.
【設計意圖】課堂中注重對學生的思維品質(zhì)和文化品格的培養(yǎng)。
Step 3: Listening and reading
1. Listen and repeat the text.
2. Read the text by yourself.

【設計意圖】整合課本內(nèi)容,把本課的基本句型放回到故事中,讓學生在真實的語境中運用所學的語言知識進行表達,提高學生的語言表達和運用能力。
Step 4: Consolidation
1. T: Im a TV presenter. Make your own TV show.教師介紹海倫·凱勒作為例子。
2. 小組合作:全班學生分成小組共同討論完成另外三個電視節(jié)目的報道,爭當最優(yōu)秀的電視主持人。
3. 小組進行匯報,選出優(yōu)秀主持人。
T: God helps those who help themselves! Be thankful for what we have today!
【設計意圖】通過小組合作讓學生設計自己的電視節(jié)目以及進行匯報表演,讓學生在真實、自然的任務型活動中拓展運用信息,在英文版歌曲《感恩的心》的旋律中讓學生感受到要向這些人學習,培養(yǎng)他們感恩、自信、自強、奮斗等品格。

2. Enjoy the pictures about animals. T: Animals bring a lot of fun to our life. So we should help each other! Let the world be filled with love!
