川劇經(jīng)典劇目《金子》全劇5幕，6位人物用他們的精湛演技將觀眾深深吸引，沈鐵梅飾演的“金子”更成了永恒的經(jīng)典。她的一顰一笑、舉手投足都是對川劇虛實相生的人物性格的完美刻畫。而她的唱腔更是世間難得幾回聞，時而高亢，響遏行云，時而低回，細膩柔美。這已超出了唱腔本身，直抵靈魂深處，仿佛將觀眾帶到了“金子”那個特定的年代。這也是有的觀眾看了5遍、10遍甚至20遍都還在細細回味的魅力所在。

其實，川劇早已深受外國觀眾的喜愛。在世界級藝術(shù)殿堂美國林肯藝術(shù)中心、匈牙利貝凱什喬包劇院，西方觀眾能聽懂、看懂《金子》，因為極富感染力的舞臺藝術(shù)早已超出語言的界限，成為了一種充滿東方藝術(shù)魅力的國際符號。而電影版《金子》的開拍，將開啟這一本土文化藝術(shù)新的海外旅程。
