Why do we lose our dreams

For most people， are you aware of what you are living for？ Most people go through life quietly and aimlessly until tiptoeing to the forever grave. Its a fact that we are leading a regular life， getting up early， having dinner， going to and from work， raising kids and so on. When it comes to dreams， we all sigh that all our beautiful dreams are drowned in the trivial daily life as time goes on. We do have dreams when we were young. But why do most of us lose our dreams halfway through life？ Here are some reasons that can explain our doubt.

First of all， life is full of happiness， anxiety， misfortune as well as mystery. Life is not easy； there are so many obstacles on the way to success. Pressured by life and work， some people may feel exhausted and give up their dream. Determination and persistence is what it takes to reach our goals， without which we might limp through life and cant master our own fate. We will be slaves of our life and are bound to end up with failure and regret. Therefore， if you fall down， rise to your feet and cheer up！Only by experiencing a lot of failures can you achieve your final aim.

Second， set up a plan and divide your goal into several small steps. Dont dream big. If your goal is too high to reach， its more easily for you to lose heart. If you make some progress， you can reward yourself with a fancy dinner. Then， plan the next goal and insist on doing it whatever difficulty you face. There is always a way out. Just be confident！ You can make it in the end. But failures and frustrations are unavoidable. Dont cry over spilled milk. You should analyse the reasons and redesign the plan. Sometimes， you should take chances. Nothing ventured， nothing gained. Take action and be confident.

Third， you should learn to distinguish what is important and what is less important. And always put the important things first. Besides， you have also to learn how to communicate with other people. No one can succeed without others help. Through skillful communication， you can win the support of others and quicken your pace to success. More importantly， its never too late to learn. Make reading books a habit and sharpen your brain. Only with a wise head can you come up with wonderful ideas.

All in all， life is too short and unpredictable. As a saying goes， a young idler， an old beggar. If you seize the moment and hold on to your dream， life will present you with more beautiful. Lets take action and let our dreams fly.
