Research Learning on English

【Abstract】The research learning is to select and define research topics, initiative to acquire knowledge, application of knowledge in research, problem-solving learning activities from nature, society and life. Research learning has been widely present in students life. Research study aims to develop the students' enthusiasm, initiative development of students' personality and so on, they all plays a crucial role for the right to develop a scientific attitude.

I. Background of Research Learning on English

English is the globalization language of the world, it's also the most common voice in the world, in order to better integrate into the global development strategy, as a developing country, China can only adapt to the world development. At present, China's English language learning and users due to the interference and influence by the mother tongue rigidly Chinese rules and habits, appear in English Communication irregularities or substandard English cultural habits of deformity in English, this English tend to incomprehensible or unacceptable to people who in English-speaking countries .

II. The premise of English research learning

Enhancing basic skills is a necessary condition to learn English. To a firmer foundation, we must attentively listen carefully, better study in each lesson:“Prepare the heart, the hand, the ear, the eyes and the mouth.”

III. The goal of the research study

Research study emphasizes the practical application of the knowledge, skills and experience of practice-oriented in learning process. By studying the learning activities, willing to explore and strive for a positive attitude and emotional knowledge; cultivate self discovery and ask questions, collect, analyze and utilize information then solve problems, and many other scientific attitude and ability to explore; learn to communicate and share research information, creativity and achievement, develop teamwork and willing cooperation skills; culture rigorous and realistic, the constant pursuit of courage and willpower to overcome the difficulties of the natural, social and human responsibility and mission.

IV. Research Methods of Research learning

Research learning contents related to all aspects of natural sciences, social sciences, natural sciences and social sciences areas involved. Therefore, in the course of the study we have to choose their own subject research methods, in order to carry out substantive research. Here we describe several common methods, namely observational studies, experimental studies, literature research, survey research methods, etc.

V. Content on learning research

Content on learning research range generally involves three aspects, namely, the relationship between man and nature areas, areas of human and social relations, the relationship between man and self relationship field. In the study of the learning process, according to the interests and disciplines tendency gradually integrated learning content, to deepen and expand. Students improve self-awareness, self-reflection and self-development.

English research learning to take the students themselves as the main point, emphasizing their own autonomy, inquiry-based learning download. In the selected objects or themes of the research learning, students play to the own ability to think independently, to use the knowledge of English and analyzed to explore. In addition to theoretical thinking, the English research learning also focused on the students “doing” capability, which integrate theory with practice, they use of Internet and other tools to gather knowledge of English outside the classroom.

VI. Summary

English research learning always exercise found and solve problems capacity, understanding new things and independent judgment. Research learning actually help students out of the classroom, not to be bound by the limited knowledge of the classroom. In short, during the process of learning English, in characteristics of research learning, we should be more interested in creating a variety of activities to stimulate learning, to cultivate the interest in learning English and self-confidence, improving listening, speaking, reading and writing skills at the same time, to develop independent study habits and exercise of thinking, the research learning is an important means of learning English, to lay the foundation of better communicate with international businesses for the twenty-first century masters.
