本課為小學英語遼師大2011版四年級下冊Unit 9 I can fly.
一、Teaching Aims:
a. Aims on the knowledge
(1)To enable Ss to listen, speak, read and write the new words “run, jump, swim, fly, and walk” (2)To enable Ss to understand and use the new sentences “What can you do? I can...” and “Can you...?” in real situation.
b. Aims on the abilities
(1)To develop Ss’abilities of listening and speaking. (2)To train the Ss’ ability of working in groups. (3)To foster Ss’ abilities of communication and their innovation.
c. Aims on the emotion
(1)To help students cultivate and foster their abilities of working in groups. (3)To help Ss to recognize and identify the differences between Chinese and English cultures on country life.
二、Key points:
Enable to use the new words and sentences.
三、Difficult point:
To enable Ss to use the new sentences in real situation.
四、Teaching procedure:
Step 1:Warm up and lead in.
T: Hello, boys and girls! S: Hello, Miss Wang. T : I’m ready now,are you ready ? S: Yes. T: Today we have two teams! The panda team and the deer team. Let’s win the star, OK? S: OK!
(設計意圖:采用分組的形式,培養學生的競爭意識,充分調動學生的學習積極性。)
T: Now let’s chant! Let’s clap our hands. Deer deer I’m a deer. Panda panda I’m a panda. Fish fish I’m a fish. Bird bird I’m a bird. . (Do it twice.)
(設計意圖:通過歌謠熱身,貼近學生的生活,讓學生在生活中感受英語的氛圍,使學生迅速進入學習英語的角色,激發學生的學習興趣。)
Step 2: Presentation and practice.
1. T: OK, you are so great! Now I’m a bird. (Show the mask) I can fly (do action), yes or no? S: Yes! T: Today we’ll learn Unit 9 I can fly! (Writing on the blackboard, the same time, make the students read the sentence.) …..
(設計意圖:用面具引起學生注意,便于引出課題I can fly)
Now look! Show the PPT: “fly” Read and write the word! T: OK! Bird team, you are birds, you can fly. So you can say “I can fly”. Now let’s fly! Do and say: I can fly. T: Panda team, can you fly? S: No, I can’t.
T: So you can say: I’m a panda, I can’t fly. S: I’m a panda, I can’t fly.
T: Super! I’m a teacher, I can’t fly, too. Now let’s say: Who can fly or can’t? Show the PPT: The bird can fly. The bear can’t fly…
2. Teach “walk”
T: The bird can fly! Panda teams, what can you do? Show the PPT: “walk” T: Yes, you can walk. Read and write the words. T: OK! Can you walk? S: Yes! T: Let’s walk together. S: Walk, walk, I can walk.
Show the PPT: What can you do? I can walk. T: What can you do?
S1: I can walk. One by one.
