Step 1.Pre-reading

1.師生交流，培養(yǎng)思維

（1）Free talk.

T:Hello,boys and girls.Today I’m your English teacher.Nice to meet you.My name is Mr.Lei.I want to know something about you.What’s your name? How old are you?What’s your hobby?Can you swim?Let’s swim together.OK?What can you do?

（2）T:There are four seasons in a year.What are they?（學(xué)生看圖片說出）What season is it?What’s the weather like in spring/fall/winter?

學(xué)生根據(jù)問題回答：spring,summer,fall,winter，快速說出有關(guān)天氣及季節(jié)的詞匯及句子。

2.巧用歌謠，復(fù)習(xí)舊知

Let’s chant.

3.圖片猜測(cè)，導(dǎo)入主題

Lead-in.

PPT出示課本中Kevin的照片。

T:We all know the seasons and the weather. But what season is it in this picture?Look atthe boy.He’swearing a sweater.

T:This is our friend,Kevin.He is from Australia.What is Kevin doing?Can you guess?

（讓學(xué)生猜測(cè)，培養(yǎng)其發(fā)散性思維，教師根據(jù)學(xué)生的問題回答，回答時(shí)用maybe）

T: Kevin is writing an email. (PPT呈現(xiàn)email)Look,this is his email.

T:How do you say this word?

Ss:Email.

T:What is email?

Ss:電子郵件。

T:Today let’s learn Kevin’s email.（引出課題“Kevin’s email”并貼出）

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：由于教師是借班上課，上課一開始教師與學(xué)生自由交談，相互理解，增進(jìn)溝通。利用課本歌謠引出復(fù)習(xí)的四季類及天氣類單詞與句型,為后面的閱讀做好鋪墊。隨后，教師利用圖片引出主人公Kevin，并引導(dǎo)學(xué)生通過Kevin的衣服猜測(cè)澳大利亞的季節(jié)，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的發(fā)散性思維，同時(shí)自然而然地引出主題“Kevin’s email”。

Step 2.While-reading

1.聽讀郵件，整體感知（聽讀）

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：利用Kevin給Dagang寫郵件的情境設(shè)計(jì)問題：Who is Kevin writing to？引出Dagang，喚起學(xué)生的閱讀興趣，并給出快速閱讀的任務(wù)——回答問題。

2.快速閱讀，提取信息（尋讀）

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：由于五年級(jí)學(xué)生是第一次接觸閱讀，教師在學(xué)生快速閱讀后，指導(dǎo)學(xué)生閱讀的技巧——在閱讀的過程中獲取關(guān)鍵信息，從而培養(yǎng)了學(xué)生尋讀的能力。教師充分注重了英語語言的工具性，引出郵件中的新單詞，并結(jié)合句子讓學(xué)生進(jìn)行口頭操練，培養(yǎng)其英語表達(dá)能力。同時(shí)給學(xué)生介紹英語電子郵件的寫法，初步掌握電子郵件的構(gòu)成。

3.細(xì)讀郵件，理解郵件（細(xì)讀）

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：經(jīng)過前面的聽讀和尋讀活動(dòng)后，學(xué)生對(duì)郵件的大意有了初步的了解，但對(duì)于澳大利亞與中國的氣候相反了解得不是很深入。借助兩個(gè)判斷題對(duì)學(xué)生再進(jìn)行深入的指導(dǎo)，要求學(xué)生細(xì)讀郵件。此活動(dòng)的設(shè)計(jì)有利于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生準(zhǔn)確理解文中的每一個(gè)字和用英語思維的能力，同時(shí)也滲透了文化知識(shí)。

4.模仿錄音，演讀郵件（演讀）

（1）讓學(xué)生與錄音同時(shí)讀，注意語速。

（2）兩人一組演讀。

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：在學(xué)生理解郵件內(nèi)容后，沒有采取一貫的跟讀做法，而是讓他們同時(shí)跟讀錄音，并提醒學(xué)生注意語音、語調(diào)和語速，有利于學(xué)生形成良好的發(fā)音習(xí)慣。演讀激發(fā)了學(xué)生對(duì)閱讀的興趣，實(shí)現(xiàn)從閱讀到“悅”讀。

Step 3.Post-reading

1.復(fù)述郵件，口頭輸出

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：設(shè)計(jì)一個(gè)口頭輸出——復(fù)述，目的是檢測(cè)學(xué)生對(duì)郵件的掌握與理解情況，提高學(xué)生的口頭表達(dá)能力，活動(dòng)符合小學(xué)生的認(rèn)知水平。

2.完成郵件，筆頭輸出

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：大量的語言輸入就是為了語言的輸出。考慮到課文的要求及學(xué)生第一次接觸閱讀教學(xué)，相對(duì)降低教學(xué)目標(biāo)，讓學(xué)生幫助Dagang將郵件補(bǔ)充完整，檢測(cè)學(xué)生對(duì)郵件的理解情況。

3.觀看視頻，拓展課外

（1）觀看視頻。

T:Australia is a beautiful country.

（2）Summary.

T: Please look at the blackboard again. 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生再次看黑板，重現(xiàn)重點(diǎn)內(nèi)容。

（3）Homework.

T:This is today’s homework.

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：鑒于學(xué)生對(duì)中國與澳大利亞氣候的差異理解這個(gè)難點(diǎn)，教師增加了一個(gè)有關(guān)兩國氣候的視頻“Weather culture”，讓學(xué)生加深對(duì)兩個(gè)國家不同氣候的了解，拓展更多的課外知識(shí)，也為課外作業(yè)的延伸做好鋪墊。在課結(jié)束之前，教師再引導(dǎo)學(xué)生看板書，鞏固所學(xué)知識(shí)，加深印象。
