教學過程

Step 1.Free talk

T:Hello,boys and girls.Nice to meet you.This class we have two groups,boys and girls.We are going to have a match.Look here，there is a map of China.There are many cities.If you do well（豎起大拇指示意），I’ll give a flag for you.The red flags are for girls.The blue flags are for boys.If you get the most cities,you will be the winner.Do you want to be the winner?（Ask the boys&girls.）

Boys&girls:Yes,we do.

設計意圖：按學生性別來分組，每組得一面旗就會占領地圖上的一座城池，占領城池多的一組為最終的獲勝者。這既便于激發學生學習的興趣，又巧妙地與本節課的內容銜接，創設了真實的情境，營造了學習新知識的語言環境。

Step 2.Warm-up

T:OK.Let’sbegin our match.Are you ready?First,let’s say a happy English sound slogan：Enjoy nature,enjoy life！

T:Oh,very good.I think boys and girls are all wonderful.All get a flag.（師總結朗讀情況，板書并各獎一面旗，激發學生學生的興趣，下同。）

設計意圖：在新授之前讓學生跟著教師喊口號，全身都動起來，以飽滿的熱情投入到英語課堂的學習當中，營造輕松的學習氛圍，使學生快速進入學習狀態，同時激發他們的意志。

Step 3.Presentation

Play the video about weather report.After that,teach the new phrase：This is the weather report.

T:Now please watch a video.What’sthis?Can you guess?

Ss:天氣預報。

T：How to say it in English?Do you know?教師出示幻燈片，由已學單詞“father,mother,brother”中的字母組合 ther/奩藜/以及sweater中字母組合ea/e/導出weather的發音，進而引出weather report。

接下來PPT依次出示四張表示“hot,cold,cool,warm”的圖片。

T：What’s the weather like in the picture?

Ss：炎熱的 /寒冷的 /涼爽的 /溫暖的。

T：How to say it in English?Bring out the new words:hot/鬑/cold/藜u/,cool/u:/,warm/蘅:/. 并將這四個新單詞的卡片粘貼在黑板上。出示PPT，讓學生能夠形象地感知這些詞的內涵，同時將音標融入單詞教學之中，讓學生潛移默化地熟悉音標、學會音標，使其發音更標準。新授單詞時，將這四個單詞帶入“What’s the weather like？It’s hot/cold/cool/warm.”句型中進行操練鞏固。

設計意圖：播放一段英文天氣預報的視頻，直接形象地將其與本課時學習內容緊密聯系。將音標融入單詞教學之中，讓學生耳濡目染，無形中記住一些字母組合的發音規律，從而培養學生看音讀詞的能力。同時將新授單詞植入句型中，做到詞不離句。

Step 4.Practice

1.Ask and answer.

T：What’s the weather like?

Ss:It’s...

（PPT呈現幾張天氣符號的圖片，互問互答，對剛學的內容進行拓展）

2.Let’s play.

Game 1:Who is fast?

首先教師做示范，打亂次序任意讀出四個新單詞，分別請一男一女兩名學生，用一個手掌樣子的玩具快速拍所聽到單詞的卡片并大聲朗讀，速度快且聲音洪亮者為勝。然后請其他學生讀出單詞，另外兩名學生來拍。

T:Let me see:Who is the winner?（獲勝者將得到小旗）

Game 2:Guess.What’s the weather like today?

PPT中呈現一個轉盤，轉盤上分四種顏色，分別寫有“hot，cold，cool，warm” 四 個 單詞。如下圖：

先讓學生猜，然后再點擊鼠標，讓轉盤轉起來，轉盤停止則顯示正確答案，猜對的學生得到小旗獎勵。

3.A happy English memory competition.

Give the students several minutes to recite these new words.然后請學生站起來向后轉，背對黑板拼背單詞，拼背正確得到小旗獎勵。

設計意圖：通過兩個簡單的游戲，既活躍了課堂氣氛，激發了學生學英語的興趣，也鞏固了這節課新授的內容。在進行了一系列鞏固練習之后，再給學生一定的時間去消化、記憶，將知識真正內化成學生自己的東西，大大地提高了課堂效率，也減輕了學生的課外負擔。

Step 5.Talk show

I’m a weather reporter.Show the map of China.

Ask the students to make a weather report.Use the sentence patterns:Good morning.This is the weather report.It’s...in...It’s...in...Thank you.教師先示范，學生領會意思之后，在小組內練習，make a weather report each other.最后小組派代表上臺匯報表演。

設計意圖：這一環節為學生創設了一個真實的情境，讓學生用英語播報天氣預報，在操練本節課重點句型的同時，也對這一節課的學習效果做了一個簡單的測試。

Step 6.Wrap up

1.引導學生參考板書內容總結所談話題和所學內容。

2.師生共評最佳小組并予以表揚。

T：Now let’s see which group is the winner.Wow,boys&girls are the winners.Congratulations!

Ss：鼓掌說“boys&girls...”。

設計意圖：課末及時引導學生總結，讓學生對所學知識有一個清晰的輪廓；對學生的課堂表現進行總結評價，保持學生學英語的積極性。

Step 7.Homework

Write a short weather report.

設計意圖：課外作業緊扣新知內容，將英語學習延伸到課外，使新知學習得以鞏固，體現了學以致用的原則。
