How To Get Work Done

There are basically two ways to get work done. One way is working individually and the other is working in a team. Of course， they each have their own characteristics.

The former， working individually， can allow people to do things in whatever ways they like. Besides， people can also solve problems by themselves. The latter， however， is quite different. It requires team spirit. As is known to all， two heads are better than one. Many people can talk over problems together. What's more， people can learn from each other in team work.

Personally， I prefer to combine them together. Because working individually can help me build up my ability to stand on my own feet while working in a team gives me a chance to acquire experience from others.

這篇作文要求學生就完成工作的方式來表達自己的觀點。人們完成工作的方式通常有兩種：獨立完成和合作完成。兩種方式各有特點。我們可以按照以下三塊內容來安排行文：①獨立完成意味著自行安排、自己解決問題；②合作完成意味著一起討論、相互學習；③我喜歡的方式和理由。

這個選題屬于議論文，議論文一般要有論點、論據和論證。應該說，這篇作文雖然篇幅不長，但這幾個部分都包含了。總的來說，解題正確，結構清楚，行文流暢，語言表達較少明顯錯誤，上下文之間注重銜接。也有適當引用，如“two heads are better than one”，說明該生平時注重語言資料的積累。

但也存在一些問題，如：

1. 語法問題：Because從句不能單獨成句，所以作文的最后一個句子要與前面的這個句子合二為一。

2. 連接詞的使用問題：過多地使用連接詞，尤其是有些部分之間并沒有很強的邏輯連接關系。比如“Of course， they each have their own characteristics.”中的“Of course”跟前文缺少“理所當然”的聯系。第二段的每一句之間幾乎都有連接詞（Besides， however， As is known to all， Whats more），也給人一種太頻繁的感覺。

3. 句子的組織結構問題：有些句子顯得比較松散（loose）。英語平均句長要超過漢語，希望學生能學會寫編織得較好的句子。“The former， working individually， can allow people to do things in whatever ways they like. Besides， people can also solve problems by themselves.”完全可以改寫為“The former， working individually， can allow people to do things in ways they like and to solve problems by themselves.”

4. 代詞的使用問題：作文中存在主語頻繁變換的情況，比如，“The former， working individually， can allow people to do things in whatever ways they like. Besides， people can also solve problems by themselves.”這兩個句子，完全可以用一致的主語來統攝，第二句不妨改換為：“It can also allow people to solve problems by themselves.”另外，漢語中的習慣是重復出現某個名詞，如“人們”這樣，“人們”那樣。但在英語中，下文中出現上文某個名詞，則會用代詞等替代，如“Many people can talk over problems together. Whats more， people can learn from each other in team work.”中，建議將第二個“people”改為“they”。
