Public Financing for West-East Gas Transmission Pipeline

CNPC is taking a crucial step toward public financing and open competition. In the construction of West-East Gas Transmission Pipeline No.3， CNPC is establishing joint venture with SSF， Urban Infrastructure Investment Fund and BaoSteel Group. The joint venture will carry on the construction and operation independently.

New Policies to Stabilize Export Is Introducing

New policies to stabilize export are going to be discussed and approved at the State Council meeting. According to people close to Ministry of Commerce， the polices include adjusting the export tax rebate of certain commodities， paying all the amount of export tax rebate by central government and so on.

Sell Small Banks

The trend of the transfer of small banks equity is becoming stronger at present. 37 equity transfers have occurred nationwide until now， involving 28 banks. The original stake holders’ lack of money and turning negative on small banks are the major causes.

Zombie Car Companies

Deteriorating competitive environment of car market is further cutting the profits of self-owned brand car companies. At present， these companies are trying to get money from government subsidies. However， in the absence of effective means of improving profits， which is the real need， the dependence of government subsidies will breed zombie companies.
