動詞串聯ABC

高考短文改錯題通常以記敘文為主，涉及動詞的考查較多。像The old man got off the bus， entering(entered) the supermarket and bought some fruit這樣，一句話中有幾個動詞接連出現，同學們要會判斷它們的時態是否正確。

動詞的串聯包括動詞的承接關系和伴隨關系兩種形式。

動詞承接關系是指主語做出了一系列連續動作，這些動作有先后承接關系，常用“A and B”和“A，B and C”兩種形式表示。這時候，A、B、C這幾個謂語動詞時態應一致。

例1The old man entered the room and closed the door. (A and B)

本文第一段中的句子即為A，B and C形式，句中“下車”“進超市”和“買水果”是老人先后做出的一系列動作，時態應一致，enter用現在分詞形式是錯誤的。

動詞伴隨關系是指主語做出一個動作的同時還伴隨著另外的動作，或處于另外一種狀態中。表示伴隨的動詞應該采用現在分詞形式，常用“A + V-ing”或“V-ing + A”形式表示。

例2He came out， waving his hands. (A + V-ing)

他“走出來”的同時“揮著手”，這兩個動作是同時進行的。

還有一種比較復雜的情況結合了承接關系和伴隨關系，常用“A and B，+ V-ing”形式表示。

例3Suddenly， a tall man seized the girl and took her away， disappearing into the woods. (A and B，+ V-ing)

seized和took her away是承接關系，時態一致;disappearing是對seized和took her away這兩個動作的補充說明，表示做出這兩個動作時這個高個男人的狀態。

遇到動詞串聯的情況，關鍵在于判斷動詞表示的動作是先后發生的還是同時進行的，再判斷它們應有的時態形式就很方便了。
