
摘要:列夫·曼諾維奇從“新媒體”研究出發(fā),以勾連現(xiàn)代藝術(shù)與計(jì)算機(jī)科技為研究路徑,揭示了新媒體藝術(shù)的歷史源流與內(nèi)在機(jī)制。在歷史源流方面,新媒體與現(xiàn)代藝術(shù),尤其先鋒藝術(shù)異質(zhì)同構(gòu),新媒體以挪用拼貼的程序化、空間蒙太奇的日常化、構(gòu)成主義的自動(dòng)化繼承先鋒派的藝術(shù)實(shí)踐、實(shí)現(xiàn)先鋒派的藝術(shù)觀念;新媒體藝術(shù)則揭示乃至預(yù)言新媒體的發(fā)展。從內(nèi)在機(jī)制來看,基于新媒體的運(yùn)作機(jī)制,尤其是文化界面與數(shù)據(jù)界面的轉(zhuǎn)碼機(jī)制,新媒體藝術(shù)成為“文化習(xí)俗”與“軟件習(xí)俗”的“混合體”。從新媒體研究到新媒體藝術(shù)研究,曼諾維奇建構(gòu)出獨(dú)特的“新媒體-藝術(shù)”的研究邏輯與理論話語,為新媒體藝術(shù)研究拓展出新維度。

Abstract: Lev Manovich, starting from the study of "new media" and taking the link between modern art and computer technology as the research path, reveals the historical origin and internal mechanism of new media art. In terms of historical origins, new media and modern art, especially avant-garde art, are heterogeneous and isomorphic. New media inherits avant-garde artistic practices and realizes avant-garde artistic concepts through the procedural use of collages, the daily use of spatial montages, and the automation of constructivism; new media art reveals and even predicts the development of new media. From the perspective of internal mechanism, based on the operation mechanism of new media, especially the transcoding mechanism of cultural interface and data interface, new media art has become a "hybrid" of "cultural customs" and "software customs". From new media research to new media art research, Manovich constructed a unique research logic and theoretical discourse of "new media art", expanding a new dimension for new media art research.

近年來,新媒體藝術(shù)成為當(dāng)代藝術(shù)的熱點(diǎn)現(xiàn)象。在國內(nèi),互動(dòng)裝置、沉浸式藝術(shù)乃至元宇宙藝術(shù),成為粉絲爭相“打卡”和資本追捧的對(duì)象。然而,西方的新媒體藝術(shù)并非只是眾聲喧嘩中的奇觀,而是有其發(fā)展脈絡(luò)、前沿探索和人文深度。而在藝術(shù)實(shí)踐背后,是西方新媒體藝術(shù)理論的支撐。對(duì)此,國內(nèi)學(xué)界尚缺乏系統(tǒng)關(guān)注。由于相當(dāng)數(shù)量的國外新媒體藝術(shù)理論家也兼具藝術(shù)家身份,其理論觀點(diǎn)對(duì)于新媒體藝術(shù)實(shí)踐有直接的導(dǎo)向作用,因此國外新媒體藝術(shù)理論的研究具有重要的理論與實(shí)踐意義。在國外的新媒體藝術(shù)研究領(lǐng)域,理論家兼藝術(shù)家列夫·曼諾維奇(Lev Manovich)無疑是其中的代表,其所提出的新媒體藝術(shù)理論在藝術(shù)界和理論界均引發(fā)熱議。……
