Nowadays communication is undergoing dramatic changes. Rarely does a day go by that we do not see a man negotiating a deal with his client over the phone or a lovey-dovey couple billing and cooing on a video call.

Advances in technology are the driving force behind the changes. In the past， people kept in touch with each other mainly through writing letters. It took months or even years for them to hear from each other. However， with the advent of the Internet， people can now get in touch with their relatives or friends on the other side of the globe in a flash. Another contributing factor is the improvement in living standard. For example， the smart phone， once a luxury， has now become commonplace in peoples daily life.

本題可以寫三個段落。

第一段提出所討論的話題。可以從人生充滿挑戰說起，接著列舉一些挑戰，使之具體化。然后順勢指出應對挑戰的能力對學生至關重要。
