詞匯量的大小是檢驗一個學生英語水平的一個重要標志，詞匯量大的同學閱讀速度就會快，閱讀理解能力就會強，而記憶詞匯卻是學生非常頭疼的事情。那么如何通過猜測詞義擴大詞匯量，是學生學習外語時應該掌握的學習技巧。英語單詞的猜詞技巧與方法有很多，下面通過練習簡要介紹兩種常用的方法。

一、通過單詞的構詞法推測詞義。

英語單詞詞根通過加前綴或者后綴派生出新的詞義
