英語中動構式的理論研究

摘要：由于英語中動構式主動形式表被動意義的特點，在過去的大約120年間英語中動構式一直成為語言學研究的熱門話題。許多學者從不同的角度對英語中動構式進行描寫和解釋，涉及的理論有傳統描寫語法、轉換生成語法、認知語法和構式語法。將根據這四個理論對英語中動構式的特點及形成原因進行探究，同時詳細地闡述這四個理論在研究英語中動構式過程中存在的優缺點，并根據研究現狀提出了未來研究英語中動構式的發展趨勢。

Abstract： The English Middle Construction has aroused a heated debate in linguistics during the past 120 or so due to its special characteristics， namely， it active in the syntactic form but passive in the semantic meaning. A majority of scholars describe and explain English Middle Constructions by means of different theories including the traditional descriptive grammar， transformational-generative grammar， cognitive grammar and construction grammar. The characteristics of English Middle Constructions and the motivations for the formation of English Middle Constructions in accordance withthe four theories mentioned above. Furthermore， the advantages and disadvantages of the four theories in studying English Middle Constructions were elaborated in detail. Finally， the development trend of English Middle Constructions was illustrated based on the research status.

1 英語中動構式研究現狀綜述

在過去的大約120年里，英語中動構式由于其獨特的語言現象受到了學者們的密切關注。通常，基于語言形態，我們很容易辨別出英語主動構式（如本文例1）和英語被動構式（如本文例2），但對于英語中動構式卻很迷惑，因為英語中動構式的動詞采用了主動的形式卻表示被動的含義。關于英語中動構式的精確定義至今少有人提出，但是學術界給出了許多界定英語中動構式的標準。根據Ackema等[1]、Zwart[2]、Lekako[3]、何文忠[4]和楊曉軍[5]對英語中動構式的定義，我們可以歸納出英語中動構式有如下特點：

1）句法特點：英語中動構式由“主語+謂語+狀語”組成；主語由被動參與者充當，主動參與者在句法上沒有投射，而是隱藏在語義框架中；動詞采取主動語態，一般為一般現在時；……
