2） intend用過去完成時或intend后接動詞不定式的完成式表示一個過去打算做而實際未做的愿望或打算：had intended to do sth. / intended to have done sth.

I had intended to call you last night， but something stopped me. = I intended to have called you last night， but something stopped me. 昨晚我本打算給你打電話，但有事未成。
