一、詞匯

1. occasion n. （P.9） ①[C]時刻，時節；②[C]重要的慶祝活動；③[U]場合，時機。如：

I've met with him on several occasions. 我已見過他好幾次。

I bought a new dress just for the occasion. 就為這次活動，我買了一身新衣服。

The conference is an occasion for different countries to exchange views. 這次大會是不同國家交流看法的一個好時機。

【拓展】 on occasion有時，間或；occasional adj. 偶爾的； occasionally adv. 偶爾地

【拓展】 短語中介詞to有“比較”的意思。類似的短語有：
