一、文體概述

推薦信是寫給個人或單位的求職或求學的信件，應對方的需求在內容上有不同的側重點，一般包括以下內容：（1）推薦人與被推薦人的關系；（2）被推薦人的能力與經歷； （3）被推薦人的個性特點。不論何種推薦信，都是以第三人稱展示個人技能或特點。

二、必備短語

1. recommend to you my best friend 向你推薦我最好的朋友

2. an all-around student 一個全面的學生

3. be qualified for/be equal to能勝任

4. have a good command of精通

5. sense of responsibility責任感

6. be experienced in 在……方面有經驗

三、套用句式

1. I am writing this letter to strongly recommend to you my best friend Li Ming， a promising youth. 我寫這封封信向您強烈推薦我最好的朋友李明，一個有前途的青年。

習作修改

本文是李華向教授推薦他的同學李明到教授所在大學學習。

1. classmate→classmates 因one of后加名詞復數。

2. his→your 因是推薦李明到professor所在的學校，因此人稱代詞應用your。

3. 在expert和science中間加in 因be expert in，是指在某些方面的專家，固定搭配。

4. a→an 因excellent是以元音音素開頭，不定冠詞應用an。

5. get→got 描述過去獲得的成績，謂語動詞應該用過去式。

6. but→and 指他熱心、進步，是并列關系，用and連接。

7. highly→high 修飾名詞potentiality（潛力）用形容詞。

8.劃去learning前的the 指學習能力好，搭配為be good at doing sth。

9. whether→if 意指如果能被你們學校錄取，他將會是你們學校優秀的學生，是條件狀語，不用whether引導，應用if。

10. favor→favorable 修飾名詞應該用形容詞。
