一、文體概述

祝賀/祝福信是指在日常生活中，你得知同學或朋友考試取得好成績、競賽獲獎、考上大學等或過新年、重大及特殊節日時，給對方祝賀/祝福的信件。寫信的語言應做到真誠、自然和親切。通常包括以下內容：說明事由并表明自己的衷心祝賀→展開評論事件，贊揚被祝賀人過去的努力及優點等→表達自己的祝愿。

二、必備短語

1. Congratulations on... 恭喜/祝賀……

2. come true 實現/成真

3. be delighted to learn that... 很高興得知……

4. express my congratulations on... 表達我對……的祝賀

習作修改

本篇是熊貓愛好者李華，給遠在美國的大熊貓一家寫的祝福信。

1. when→since 主句出現了現在完成時，應將when改成since，表示“自從我小時候”起持續到現在。

2. am→was 由three years ago可知，用一般過去時。

3. for→to 表示“分娩，生產”，為give birth to。

4. watched→watching 因watch這個動作是由主語I發出，故改watched為watching。

5. that 意思是“她”現在將三歲，而非“既然”她將三歲，故去掉that。

6. him→her 上文熊貓是用she代替，上下文應指代一致。

7. works→work 表示“工作”，work為不可數名詞，用原形。

8. because 后加of 引導非限制性定語從句，which指代的是hard work，為名詞，應該用because of。

9. health→healthy 修飾名詞life應用形容詞。

10. taking→taken 此處take與photo是被動關系，應用過去分詞形式。
