一、文體概述

邀請信是邀請親朋好友或知名人士、專家等參加某項活動時所發的邀請信件。寫邀請信要簡潔明了，通常要寫清楚以下幾個方面：1. 邀請對方參加的活動內容、時間和地點。2. 邀請對方參加的原因。3. 期待對方接受邀請。

二、必備短語

1. invite sb. to do sth. 邀請某人做某事

2. in order to do sth. 為了做某事

3. hold a party 舉辦晚會

4. in the Meeting Hall 在會議廳

5. take place 舉行

6. take part in / participate in / compete in 參加

7. make progress 取得進步

8. look forward to 期待

9. accept ones invitation 接受某人的邀請

10. long for your coming 渴望你的到來

三、套用句式

1. Im writing to invite you to join us in the Talent Show. 我寫信是想邀請你參加“才藝表演”。

2. We are going to hold a party for Toms birthday. 我們打算為湯姆舉辦生日晚會。

3. We sincerely hope that you could come. 我們真誠希望你能來。

4. Id appreciate it if you could come. 如果你能來，我將不勝感激。

5. Im looking forward to your early reply. 期待你的早日回復。

Dear David，

Next Saturday will be my birthday. Im going to hold a birthday party at home on the evening. They will start at 7：30. Some classmates as well as some foreign friend have been invited. 參考答案與范文

習作修改

1. on→in 因in the evening（在晚上）是固定詞組。

2. They→It 指代上文的party，故用it。

3. friend→friends 因friend為可數名詞，前面有some，故用復數形式。

4. but→and 跟前面并列，故用and。

5. 在have和good中間加上a 因have a good time（玩得愉快）是固定詞組，故需加上a。

6. honoring→honored 句意：我將感到榮幸。此處表示被動，故用honored。

7. got→get 因can take and get off，此處為并列謂語，故用get。

8. Justly→Just 句意：我的家正好在對面，故用Just。

9. that→which 非限制寫定語從句，故用which。

10. 去掉to 情態動詞后用動詞原形，故去掉to。

How time flies！Two years has passed since you came to study in our class. You have really made great progress in your studying in China. Congratulations on your passing all the exams. We all appreciate your help with our English. And well never forget the wonderful time we spent together.
