目標(biāo)確定的依據(jù)：

1.課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)相關(guān)要求

課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)四級目標(biāo)要求八年級學(xué)生能聽懂接近自然語速、熟悉話題的簡單語段；識別主題，獲取主要信息；能在教師的指導(dǎo)下參與角色扮演等活動(dòng)；能引出話題并進(jìn)行交談，并能在口語和日常生活中使用正確的語音語調(diào)。

2.教材分析

本單元要求學(xué)生能用一般將來時(shí)態(tài)表達(dá)將要發(fā)生的事情。Section A主要學(xué)習(xí)運(yùn)用句型─Sb. will do.以及There will be. 對未來進(jìn)行預(yù)測。Section B在Section A的基礎(chǔ)上通過閱讀文本進(jìn)一步熟悉在Section A中所學(xué)的句型，同時(shí)運(yùn)用所學(xué)的句式來描述機(jī)器人的發(fā)展歷程。

3.學(xué)情分析

學(xué)生在七年級下冊已經(jīng)學(xué)習(xí)過there be句型，同時(shí)在八年級上冊第六單元學(xué)過be going to 將來時(shí)態(tài)，這都為本單元的語法學(xué)習(xí)奠定基礎(chǔ)。但是在本單元中學(xué)生容易把sb./sth. will be 及 there will be 句型的be動(dòng)詞省略，所以在教學(xué)過程中要加強(qiáng)訓(xùn)練。

目標(biāo)：1.能用閱讀策略Skimming匹配段落大意；2.能用閱讀策略Scanning，說出重要句子意思并能理解文章大意；3.通過小組討論及展示分享自己設(shè)計(jì)的機(jī)器人。

教學(xué)過程：

Step I Lead-in （3 minutes）

Task 1 show a video about robots and answer the questions about the video .

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：通過展示有關(guān)機(jī)器人的片段，吸引學(xué)生。同時(shí)創(chuàng)設(shè)具體的情境來引入新課，呈現(xiàn)本節(jié)課話題，讓學(xué)生感覺比較自然、親切。體現(xiàn)了英語學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容的生活化，既形象又具體，并為進(jìn)入閱讀階段做準(zhǔn)備。

Step II Reading （30 minutes）

Task 2 Skimming.

Students read the article quickly to match each paragraph with the question it discusses.

Assessment 1 Check students’ skimming ability.

Task 3 Scanning.

Students read the article carefully to find out key sentences and translate them into Chinese..

Assessment 2 Check if students understand the article more.

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：通過不同的閱讀策略及生生合作，充分發(fā)揮學(xué)生的主體作用，而教師做個(gè)好舵手，圍繞目標(biāo)，設(shè)置與學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo)相匹配的問題，讓學(xué)生在真實(shí)的語境下正確感知語言。不同問題的設(shè)計(jì)，用來檢驗(yàn)學(xué)生能否理解文章。把評價(jià)滲透在教與學(xué)的過程中，老師根據(jù)評價(jià)反饋的信息，及時(shí)調(diào)控課堂。

Task 4 Analyze the article paragraph by paragraph.

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：通過師生互動(dòng)及自主學(xué)習(xí)，能幫助學(xué)生更好的理解文章，從而激勵(lì)學(xué)生，增加他們的信心并提高他們的學(xué)習(xí)興趣。

Step III Group work （10 minutes）

Task 5. In groups， students design their own robots. （They should tell the class what their robots look like and what their robots can do.）

Task 6. Share students’ robots and choose the best group.（Before the class， we choose some team leaders， and the leaders give the grades. ）

Assessment 3. Check how much students have learned from this article.

設(shè)計(jì)意圖：通過本環(huán)節(jié)的設(shè)計(jì)，讓學(xué)生小組合作設(shè)計(jì)自己的機(jī)器人，不僅增加了課堂的趣味性，同時(shí)也鞏固了對目標(biāo)語言的使用，突出了語言的生活化和實(shí)用性。
