一、讀前——聚焦主題,激發(fā)興趣
Greetings:
T:Good morning,boys and girls!How are you?
S:I’m fine,thank you.
T:And we’ll read a story.Do you like stories?It’s about an animal.Look!What’s this?It’s a cute bear,and his name is Zoom.
設(shè)計意圖:上課伊始,通過自由對話,詢問學(xué)生是否喜歡故事。通過故事激趣,激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語的熱情與閱讀興趣。
二、讀中——分析文本內(nèi)容,培養(yǎng)閱讀策略
1.讀大意——了解背景,獲取信息
T:Zoom will have a test.Do you know test?(出示單詞test,告訴學(xué)生e的發(fā)音,讓學(xué)生自己讀出單詞。)
T:These pictures are about test.(出示測試的圖片)What does it mean?
S:It means...
T:Every term we will have some tests.And Zoom will have a test.WhattestwillZoom have?Does Zoom pass the test?Now please read the story by yourselves,then try to answer the two questions.Please read and underline the answers.

設(shè)計意圖:在閱讀前,引出本課的重點(diǎn)詞test,直接導(dǎo)入故事。通過兩個問題初讀故事,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生快速理解故事大意。在學(xué)生回答問題的過程中不斷用“Good job!Perfect!”評價學(xué)生,讓學(xué)生在真實(shí)的情境中感受這些詞的含義。
2.讀細(xì)節(jié)——指導(dǎo)策略,讀明細(xì)節(jié)
T:Zoom past the test.Can Zoom sing well in the test?
S:Yes,he can.(板書:sing well)
T:When will the test be?He can sing very well in the test.Can Zoom sing well at first?

設(shè)計意圖:第一部分的內(nèi)容比較復(fù)雜,通過填空的形式降低難度,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生提煉出第一部分的主要信息。了解故事發(fā)生的背景。學(xué)習(xí)“Practice makes perfect.”,使學(xué)生初步理解句子的意思。

T:Practise and practice,are they the same?Look,ce,se,they’re differen’t.But they’re the same pronunciation and the same Chinese meaning. But“Practice makes perfect”,here practice is a noun(名詞).I want to practise my song. Here practise is a verb(動詞).Are you clear?
設(shè)計意圖:閱讀中,需要學(xué)生細(xì)讀體會故事。此故事的重點(diǎn)內(nèi)容是第二部分到第四部分。通過表格的形式,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生提煉出第二部分的主要內(nèi)容,使知識重點(diǎn)突出,學(xué)生一看表格,就能概括整段話的意思。通過引導(dǎo),教學(xué)生提煉信息的方法,為下面讓其自己提煉信息做好鋪墊。本課出現(xiàn)practise和practice,學(xué)生搞不清這兩個單詞的區(qū)別,通過對比,讓其能夠區(qū)分清楚。

設(shè)計意圖:通過第二部分,學(xué)生已經(jīng)掌握了提煉文本主要內(nèi)容的方法。把第三部分和第四部分放手給學(xué)生,讓其運(yùn)用第二部分的閱讀方法,提煉第三部分和第四部分的主要內(nèi)容,做到學(xué)以致用。

設(shè)計意圖:通過閱讀整篇故事,學(xué)生已經(jīng)理解故事大意。引導(dǎo)學(xué)生談?wù)搶χ魅斯玓oom的看法,以進(jìn)行思想滲透,引導(dǎo)培養(yǎng)他們良好的學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣。這篇故事沒有題目,讓學(xué)生根據(jù)自己的理解為故事命名,可以幫助他們更好地理解故事內(nèi)容,進(jìn)而把握故事的主題。
2.讀有所思——復(fù)述文本,融會貫通
T:Look! On April 30th,Zoom can’t sing well.On May 1st,Zoom doesn’tgotothe party.He practises his song.On May2nd,Zoom doesn’tplay football.He practises his song.On May 3rd,Zoom doesn’t watch TV.He practises his song.At last,he can sing the song very well.So practice makes perfect.(根據(jù)板書,教師帶學(xué)生一起復(fù)述故事)

設(shè)計意圖:通過聽錄音、模仿發(fā)音,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的模仿能力,形成正確的語音、語調(diào)。引導(dǎo)學(xué)生模仿動物的語調(diào),還能激發(fā)其模仿興趣。請學(xué)生結(jié)合板書的思維導(dǎo)圖復(fù)述故事,綜合運(yùn)用知識進(jìn)行語言輸出。
3.讀有所練——拓展閱讀,課后延伸
閱讀拓展素材。出示三條諺語,再出示三個英文小故事(略)。
T:Just now we learned the story:Practice makes perfect.And it’s also a proverb.There are many proverbs in our daily life.Look! No pains,no gains.Many hands make light work.A friend in need is a friend indeed.What do they mean?
T:Youdon’tknow.No problem.I have 3 stories about the proverbs.After reading the stories.You willknow them.Now let’s read the stories and try to get the meaning.
