The real details of a situation.
e.g. Does anybody know the lowdown about Tom and Lisa?
5. On the down-low (also, on the DL) 秘密進行的;不為人知的
Something to be kept secret.
e.g. I heard that Bob has a crush on Susie, but that’s on the DL for now.
