筆者有幸聆聽了一堂全國一等獎得主執教的“Don’t eat in class”一課。執教者著力挖掘了教材中隱藏的內涵,帶領學生在生活中處處尋找規章制度,讓在座的師生進入了一個個豐富多彩的生活片段。
【片段一】情景設置,引出規章制度
T:Listen to the song “I’m so happy” ,play it for twice.
T:Listen again and sing along with it.
Ss:(跟唱).
T:Stop! Can we listen to music in class?
Ss:No, we can’t.
T: Yeah,We can’t listen to music in class. (再次提問) What can’t we do in class ?
Ss: (每八人一組進行討論)
T: Ok! How many answers do your group have?
S: Six.
S: Five.
S: Eight.
S: Seven.
T: Which group has the most answers?
S: Group 1.
T: Congratulations to the winners.
(生鼓掌祝賀)
T:(點學生名)Tell us what we can’t do in class?
S: We can’t run in class. We can’t talk in class. We can’t eat in class. We can’t listen to music. We can’t arrive late for class.
T: Very good,Thanks. Let’s look and answer my questions. xxx , you please.
(生扮演各種動作,如: fight, talk, spit, smoke, run and so on)
T: What’s he doing?
S: He’s fighting/talking/ spitting/smoking/running.
T: Can we do it in class?
Ss: No, we can’t do it in class.
(師用幻燈片展示句子)
We can’t listen to the music in class.——Don’t listen to the music in class.
We can’t eat in class.——Don’t eat in class.
We can’t spit everywhere.——Don’t spit everywhere.
We can’t arrive late for class.—— Don’t arrive late for class.
We can’t run in the hallway.——Don’t run in the hallway.

【賞析】教師以歌曲的形式導入新課題,使學生產生愉快的心情,引發了他們的興趣,從而全身心地投入到課堂中去。在詢問哪組學生的答案最多時,教師用表揚優勝者的方式激勵學生發言,然后通過表演不同的動作,讓學生在具體的情景中參與學習,充分發揮想象力,給他們以自我表現的機會。
【片段二】觀看錄像,體驗規章制度
T: Let’s watch the video and see what rules they are breaking . (板書) Group 1and Group 2.
T: (放完一次錄像后). Ask: What rules are they breaking?
S1: Don’t skate.
T: Yes. Don’t skate.(在相應的Group上貼一顆星)
S2: Don’t sit on the teacher’s desk.
T: Oh, good. (同上)
S3: Don’t play games in class.
T: Great! (同上)
S4: Don’t play basketball in the classroom.
T: (豎起大拇指)Excellent! (同上) What other rules?(停頓片刻) Play the video again .
S: Don’t smoke .
S: Don’t fight.
S: Don’t wear a hat in the classroom.
【賞析】讓學生觀看錄像《逃學威龍》片段,并快速地說出違反校規的行為,而且以競賽的形式進行,在看似輕松愉快的氛圍中,體現了一種緊張有序的學習。學生有著強烈的好奇心和表現欲,個個踴躍發言。教師不失時機地給予表揚,從實際出發,引領學生去發現問題,充分調動學習的主動性,培養他們的自豪感和成就感。
【片段三】走進生活,構建規章制度
T:Please make rules for family/ cinema / traffic / hospital / library/ park/lab / class / computer room or school.(展示幻燈片內容。略)
S: (用幾分鐘時間討論圖書館規則)
T: Who can tell us something about library rules?
S1: Don’t make any noise.
S2: We can’t take the books away.
S3: Keep clean, don’t eat in the library.
S4: Keep quiet.
S5: Look after the library books well.
T: Wonderful. Who can make a report for the library rules. (并且展示以下內容提示)
Report: There are many rules in our____ , Don’t____. Don’t ______. Don’t______. We can’t _____, We can’t_____.
【賞析】這一環節既開闊了學生的視野,又鍛煉了他們的口語表達能力,培養了正確的生活觀。執教者激勵并啟發學生不斷地去探索生活中的真諦,聯系生活實際,拓展了知識的外延,挖掘了很多知識內容,由校規到班規、圖書館規則、家規等。以學生為中心展開教學,開放式的話題,一個接一個地呈現,給學生獨立說的機會,不斷地引導他們完成各種任務,使之熱愛英語、熱愛生活并遵守生活中的各種規則。在這堂課上,教師完全運用英語教學,雖然筆者不敢肯定學生能否全部聽懂教師說的內容,但是讓他們在這樣一個氛圍中去感受英語、感受生活,這難道不是一種幸福嗎?(作者單位:江西省吉安縣永陽中學)
