易混淆的It＇s+time+…句型例析

一、It＇s＋籠統的時間time(about time/high time)＋that clause……該做……。

分析：該句型常用來表達“是某人該做某事的時候了。”從句謂語動詞用虛擬語氣did／should do。且should不省略。例如：It＇s time that we took／should do some mea－sures to settle the problem，是我們該采取措施解決那個問題的時候了。

二、It＇s＋泛指的時間段＋when clause

分析：該句型中的時間通常是不具體的時間，如某一時期、某一時代或時刻等。其中when引導的是一個定語從句。如；It＇s atime when a large amount of reptilescontrolled the earth，那是一個很多爬行類動物橫行地球的時代。

三、It＇s＋具體的時間段＋since clause，從句謂語動詞通常用一般過去時。例如：

It＇s two years since he joined the army(＝Two years has passed since he joinedthe army)他參軍兩年了。

分析：在該句型中，如果從句的謂語動詞是短暫性動詞，該動作從它開始起算起，如上例。若從句的謂語動詞是延續性動詞，則動作從它結束時算起。

四、It＋be＋時間段＋before clause

1.It will/is going to／would，情態動詞(表推測)＋be＋時間段＋before clause

分析：該句型中，主句時態是一般將來時，從句為before從旬，且時態為一般現在時。譯為“要不多久就……”或“再過……就……”。例如：It will be two months be－forethe year 2010 arrives，再過兩個月。2010年就要到了。

2.hwas＋時間段＋before clause

分析：該句型中。主句時態是一般過去時，從句為before從句。譯為“過了多久才……”例如：It was three days before he telephoned me，三天后他才給我打電話。

3.It would be＋時間段＋before clause

分析：該句型通常用在間接引語里。譯為“過不多久就，在過多久就……”。例如：

She said it would be three months before the new year came，她說再過三個月就是新年了。

五、It＇s＋時間點＋clause

1.It＇s＋時間點＋定語從句

2.It＇s＋時間點＋that clause(強調句型)

分析：在這個句型里，判斷方法是：去It＇s，若剩下部分為完整的句子，則用that引導，是強調句型。如：It＇s yesterday that he left here for Beijing，反之是定語從句，用關系代詞或關系副詞引導。如：

It＇s 6：00 when he left here for Beijing this morning，

It＇s 6：00 at which be left here for Beijing this morning，

It＇s 6：00 that／which/不填he left here for Beijing this moming，

六、It＇s＋prep.＋時間點＋that clause

分析：在這個句型里，由于prep.＋時間點能夠單獨做狀語，所以該句型是強調句型。例如：It＇s at five o＇clock this morning that I came to Dalian by train我今天5點乘火車到大連。

七、It＇s＋介詞短語＋attribute clause＋強調句型

分析：該句型屬于It＇s＋介詞短語＋強調句型。常見的選擇題的解題規律是“先捂后放”原則。即在確定第一個空白處的答案時，先捂住介詞(只看表示時間／地點，原因或方式的名詞)再進行判斷，就可較準確地確定為定語從旬；在確定第二個空白處的答案時，不要捂住介詞再進行判斷，很易判斷為強調句型。例如：

It＇s at nine o＇clockI arrived at the stationI met him

A.that；whenB.that；that

C.when；whenD.when；that答案：D

八、It＋be＋tlle＋序數詞＋time＋that clause

1.It is the fist／second…time that clause

分析：在這個句型里，由于主句的謂語動詞是is，所以從句謂語動詞的時態用現在完成時。例如：It＇s the second time that I＇ve been here，這是我第二次來這里。

2.It will be the first／second…time that clallse

分析：在這個句型里，由于主旬的謂語動詞是一般將來時，所以從句謂語動詞的時態用現在完成時。例如：It will be the first time that I＇ve spoken French in pub－lic這將是我第一次在公開場合說法語。

3.It was the first／second…time that clause

分析：在這個句型里。由于主句的謂語動詞是一般過去時，所以從句謂語動詞的時態用過去完成時。例如：It was the third time that I hadn＇t worked on a Saturday那是我第三次在星期六不工作。

九、It＇s for the first，second…time that clause，

分析：在這個句型里，由于forthefirst／second…time能夠單獨做狀語，所以該句型是強調句型。例如：It＇s for the second time that I came to Dalian，這是我第二次來大連。
