The Chorus(Les Choristes in French)is a 2004 French drama film. The film explores the pain of a child’s separation from his parents and music become the greatest form of expression.
The story begins as Clement Mathieu, a talented musician who has given up on fame, becomes an assistant teacher at a boarding school specially for problem children. All necessary types are involved in his class: the cute small kid, the brazen thieves, and the impressive boy of angelic face and angelic voice...The motto of this school has long been “Action-Reaction”. However, it seems that it does not work at all and then Clement tries to transform the students through the power of music. He starts to teach the children to sing in a choir. It is a warm feeling that can not be described in words when hearing the melodious tune running out of the boys’ mouths.
There is no doubt that The Chorus is one of the best films in history. It has no beauty, no action and even no ups and downs of the plot, but it touches people’s hearts with both music and love.

Strange Mathematics
There are many ways to multiply numbers of two or more figures. Here is one of the strangest.
Imagine you wish to multiply 23 by 17. Half of 23 is 11. Write only 11 under 23 as you see in the picture. Half of 11 is 5. Write only 5. Continue until you have 1.
Now write numbers under 17. But this time you must multiply each number by two to write the number under it. For example, multiply 17 by 2 equals 34, and write 34 under 17. Continue until you have a number on the same line as 1. Now draw a line through any row that has an even number on the left. In our example there is only one. Then add the rest of the numbers in the right-hand row. Believe it or not, you will get the right answer.
Do you know why? If you are interested in why this method works, discusswith your math teacher.

“Well,” was the reply, “you’re not coming empty-handed, are you?”
