就在我剛結(jié)束在波蘭的假期之時，我被告知國家外國專家局邀請我和夫人參加遼寧之行，這真是一個巨大的驚喜。我感到非常榮幸和高興，因為在我5年的中國生活中，還從未到過遼寧。

我熱愛旅行，很快便開始通過導(dǎo)游手冊和互聯(lián)網(wǎng)了解遼寧省，尤其是沈陽和大連這兩大城市的一切信息。

7月21日，星期一，早晨，我從武漢新機場乘機飛往北京，在那里，我與直接從波蘭來的妻子匯合。她是在接到我從武漢打過去的電話之后，很快便決定來中國，陪伴我參加這次遼寧之行。她是在來中國的前一天才買到了機票，對于這次旅行，她同樣感到非常激動。

下午，我們從北京飛往沈陽。沈陽政府的工作人員從沈陽機場將我們送到了遼寧省友誼賓館。在車上，我們聽到了一些關(guān)于沈陽的有趣消息。

在酒店，我們見到了來自各國的朋友，美國、加拿大、瑞典、德國、日本、韓國、奧地利、荷蘭、泰國以及斯里蘭卡等等。他們?nèi)际遣煌甓鹊摹坝颜x獎”獲得者，其中有些人已在中國居住多年，還有一些則是直接從他們的國家來到遼寧。

第二天，我們參觀了沈陽機床集團有限責(zé)任公司并參加了合作項目的簽字儀式，該公司是中國最大的機床制造商。

下午我們參觀了沈陽故宮，它相當(dāng)于一個縮小了的北京紫禁城。晚上，我們參加了由遼寧省政府舉辦的歡迎會。

接下來那天一大早，我們離開沈陽前往大連。在路上，我們用了兩個小時的時間參觀了營口臨海工業(yè)基地以及營口開發(fā)區(qū)。營口正經(jīng)歷著巨大的發(fā)展，由一個小漁村發(fā)展為一個大型的現(xiàn)代港口城市。

下午，我們來到大連棒槌島賓館，入住后參加了大連市政府組織的歡迎會。在大連的三天里，我們參觀了許多景點： 乘船游海、參觀老虎灘海洋公園的極地海洋世界、女騎警訓(xùn)練基地以及東亞最大的廣場——大連星海灣廣場。

7月的大連天氣很好，我們得以盡情地在沙灘享受陽光，在海中暢泳。走訪社區(qū)，與市民接觸也是一件有意思的開心事。

離別前一天，我們分成兩組參加了SAFEA舉辦的座談會。我們暢談了在中國的工作情況，我談到了我的家庭、在武漢的生活，以及我所工作的公司——武漢凱迪電力環(huán)保公司，它是中國頂級煤電廠廢氣脫硫公司。凱迪剛開始開展其廢氣脫硫項目的國際業(yè)務(wù)：香港4×480MW的項目以及印尼2×660MW的項目。國際市場對我公司的全體同仁來說，具有巨大的吸引力和挑戰(zhàn)性。

在此行的最后一晚，我們參加了SAFEA舉辦的結(jié)束典禮。

這次遼寧之行對我們所有在中國工作的外國人來說都非常有趣，并使我們充分了解了中國以及遼寧的發(fā)展和投資情況，同時，我們也結(jié)交了許多朋友。

周日，我們啟程離開大連直飛武漢。武漢天降大雨歡迎我們的歸來，這個時節(jié)正值武漢的酷暑，這便是一場怡人的雨。

Directly after my vacation in Poland， I had a message， that the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs in Beijing invites me with my wife on a trip to Liaoning. It was a huge surprise and I was very happy， because in my five years staying in China， I have never been in that part of China.

I like traveling very much， so I quickly started to read everything about Liaoning Province and its two big cities Shenyang and Dalian from guidebooks and the Internet.

On Monday morning 21st of July， I took a flight from the new Wuhan Airport to Beijing， where I met my wife， who just came directly from Poland. My wife decided to come to China very quickly after my call from Wuhan， and accompany me on the trip. She bought the plane ticket the day before coming to China. She was very excited for this trip too.

In the afternoon， we flew from Beijing to Shenyang. At the Shenyang airport， people from Shenyang city office waited for us and took us to the Liaoning Friendship Hotel. In the car we heard some interesting information about Shenyang.

In the hotel we met foreigners from different countries - USA， Canada， Sweden， Germany， Japan， Korea， Austria， Holland， Thailand and Sri Lanka. They all won the Friendship Awards in different years. Some of them have lived in China for many years; other came directly from their home countries.

On the next day we had the possibility to visit Shenyang Machine Tool Group Co. Ltd. (SMTCL) and took part in the signing ceremony of cooperative projects. Shenyang Machine Tool Group is the largest machine tool manufacturer in China.

In the afternoon we visited Shenyang Imperial Palace， which is a mini-Beijing Forbidden City in layout. In the evening we were invited for the reception held by the People’s Government of Liaoning Province.

Next day in the early morning we left Shenyang and went to Dalian. On the way to Dalian we stopped for two hours and visited Yingkou Coastal Industrial Base and Yingkou Development Zone. Yingkou City is currently undergoing substantial expansion and grows from a small fishing village into a fairly large modern port city.

In the late afternoon we arrived to Dalian Bangchui Island Hotel and took part in a reception held by the People’s Government of Dalian City.

During the three days staying in Dalian we had many attractions: sea cruise by ship， visiting Polar Region Ocean World in Laohutan Ocean Park， Horse Policewomen Training Base and Dalian city with Xinghai Bay Square， which is slated to be East Asia’s largest square.

We enjoyed sunshine on the beach and swimming in the sea too， because of Dalian’s very good weather. It was also very interesting to visit communities and to interact with citizens.

The day before our departure we had symposium held by SAFEA in two groups. We spoke about our work for China. I spoke about my life with my family in Wuhan and about my company Wuhan Kaidi Electric Power Environmental Protection Co.， Ltd， which belongs to China’s top suppliers of the flue gas desulphurization (FGD) plants for coal power plants. Kaidi has just opened its international business with the FGD projects: 4x480MW in Hong Kong and 2x660MW in Indonesia. The international market is a very interesting challenge for all of my colleagues in the company.

In the evening of the last day， we were invited to the finish reception held by SAFEA.

This journey to Liaoning was very interesting for all of us foreigners and gave us lots of information about Liaoning抯 development and investments. We met many interesting people.

On Sunday we left Dalian by directly flight to Wuhan. Wuhan welcomed us with rain but because it was very hot as it is normal during summer in Wuhan， this rain was a very good welcome for us.
