A few days ago. The Ministry of Education made an announcement that the burden of pupils and middle school students should be lightened .Nowadays， more and more children escape from home， commit suicide and even kill their parents. There are two reasons. One is that fierce competition in the society brings too much pressure to the children. The other is excessive expectations are placed on the children and therefore make them overburdened. So， the Ministry of Education made such a determination in order to solve this serious problem.

I am extremely agree the policy of the Ministry of Education， because I know exactly how stressful and unhappy students are nowadays. Parents always think we are carefree. In their eyes， we needn't worry about making a living or dealing with complicated interpersonal relationships. In fact， we are greatly influenced by the competitive society. Definitely， our life is much better than that of our parents when they were at our age. But mentally， we are more suffering than they used to be. We look young， but our heart is as old as Santa Claus for lack of vitality of youth and laughter of childhood.

Parents always repeatedly tell us that we will have no bright future if we don study hard. We get sick and tired of it even though we know what they have said is quite right. We are not mad at our parents .What we really complain about is the pressure on us ，which is so heavy that we can hardly breathe. Ok， let take a look at the practice of thiseleasing childrenolicy. If the policy is carried out， pupils and middle school students will have less classes and homework. However， the content of the textbooks has not been changed at all.

For those didligent students， it a good opportunity to develop themselves according to their individual interest and personality. But， for those students who have little interest in study， it is a disaster. Reducing classes and homework means they will have less time to study. As a result， they will be most likely to fail in the exams. So， it really bad for them， isn it? If the real purpose of this policy is to release children and make them happier， the content of the textbooks and the system of examination should be changed and rebuilt. Otherwise， this policy will be only a meaningless slogan.

這已經(jīng)是開學(xué)第二個周末了，前幾天教育部下達了減輕中小學(xué)生負擔這一指示，由于目前社會競爭激烈，因此家長及社會對子女的要求過高，以至學(xué)生的學(xué)習負擔過重，致使諸如學(xué)生自殺，離家出走，殺害其父母的報道不斷見諸報端，因此，教育部終于下達了這一減負指示。

對教育部的這一決定我舉雙手贊成，同時對學(xué)生們的痛苦我也有深刻體會。大人們看到的只是我們這些學(xué)生無憂無慮的學(xué)習，不用去掙錢也不用處理復(fù)雜的人事關(guān)系，但他們哪里知道社會無處不在的競爭也不時地滲透到我們的生活中。雖然現(xiàn)在我們的生活確實比父輩們強得多，可相應(yīng)地我們身上的負擔也增添了許多。我想他們的童年和青少年應(yīng)該在精神上是無憂，而我們是未老先衰，人還沒進入社會的競爭中，思想?yún)s已經(jīng)在重重的壓力下了。

大人們總在說著不好好學(xué)習就沒有出頭之日這類日復(fù)一日的話語，雖然我們一聽到就煩，可我們心里也明白這確是事實，只不過我們煩的是這種壓力實在太重了，使得我們喘不過氣來。回過頭來再看看減負這件事，我認為減輕中學(xué)生負擔實際就是學(xué)生在校的時間少了一點，作業(yè)留得少一點，但是減來減去，書本上的知識卻紋絲不動，原來是多少，現(xiàn)在仍是多少。

對于勤奮好學(xué)的學(xué)生來說，這是給他們發(fā)展自己的機會，而對于那些懶惰厭學(xué)的學(xué)生來說，可以說是名副其實的減負，因為他們的學(xué)習時間少了，對學(xué)習的興趣就更不斷地在減弱，這反而是對他們的放縱，害了他們。其實減負真正的目的是為了培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的自覺性，提高其社會實踐能力和綜合素質(zhì)的發(fā)展，如果只是減掉了學(xué)習時間，而考試內(nèi)容從不減少的話，那減負只是一句空話。我認為如果國家的這種教育制度不改革的話，減負就永遠是空頭支票。
