On December 2， 2021， Thongloun Sisoulith， President of the Lao Peoples Democratic Republic （PDR）， spoke highly of the achievements made during the countrys development in his speech to celebrate the 46th anniversary of the founding of the Lao PDR. Speaking of achievements in national economic development and infrastructure construction， he particularly emphasized the successful advancement of China-Laos Railway construction.

Protocol on radio frequency usage along China-Laos Railway signed

近日，工業和信息化部與老撾郵電通信部簽署了中老鐵路無線電頻率使用協議。此次簽署協議，有效實現了中老鐵路無線電專用頻率及其無線電設備正常使用，確保了中老鐵路安全運行。

Chinas Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has signed a protocol on radio frequency usage along China-Laos Railway with the Ministry of Post and Telecommunication of Laos. That has effectively realized the normal use of radio frequency and radio equipment along the railway and ensured the railways safe operation.

中國銀行開立首筆中老鐵路涉外保函

BOC issues 1st foreign letter of guarantee of China-Laos Railway

2021年12月3日，中國銀行昆明市盤龍支行成功為昆明自貿區的企業云南錦云國際貿易有限公司開立首筆中老鐵路涉外保函，助力企業的產品搭載中老鐵路這條鋼鐵大動脈進入國際市場。

On December 3， the sub-branch of Bank of China （BOC） at Panlong District of Kunming， Yunnan Province， issued the first foreign letter of guarantee of China-Laos Railway for Yunnan Jinyun International Trade Co.， Ltd.， an enterprise at Kunming Area of China （Yunnan） Pilot Free Trade Zone. The letter of guarantee will help the enterprises products to enter the international market via the railway.

中老鐵路國內段實現移動網絡全覆蓋

2021年11月24日，專業技術人員對中老鐵路國內段移動通信信號進行了測試，全程語音通信質量平穩，移動、電信、聯通用戶手機上網速率基本達標，標志著中老鐵路國內段實現移動網絡全覆蓋。

On November 24， the Chinese section of China-Laos Railway was completely covered by mobile networks. Through the mobile communication signal test， technical personnel found that the quality of voice communication is stable throughout the section and the speed of internet traffic for users of China Mobile， China Unicom and China Telecom basically meets the standard.

2021年12月4日，中老鐵路（成渝—萬象）國際貨運班列始發，途經云南歷時3天到達老撾首都萬象。中老鐵路對四川加快融入中南半島經濟走廊建設、構建泛歐泛亞國際陸港主樞紐意義重大，將為西南地區經濟發展注入新的動力。

On December 4， the first train of China-Laos Railway （Chengdu/Chongqing–Vientiane） departed. Passing Yunnan Province， it takes only three days to reach Vientiane， capital of Laos. The railway is of great significance to Sichuans accelerated integration into the construction of China-Indochina Peninsula Economic Corridor （CICPEC） and to the building of the province into a Pan-Europe/Pan-Asia main land port hub. It will bring new driving forces to the economy in southwest China.

2021年12月4日，云南省在西雙版納州舉行文化旅游推介會，積極發揮連接東盟的重要樞紐及通道優勢打造5條國際旅游廊道，向老撾、馬來西亞、孟加拉國、緬甸、越南等多國嘉賓推介其“多樣性美麗”與旅游發展計劃。

On December 4， Yunnan Province held a cultural and tourism promotion event in its Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture. The province aims to build five international tourism corridors relying on the major hubs and channels connecting the Association of Southeast Asian Nations （ASEAN）. During the event， the province introduced its diversified beauties and tourism development plans to guests from foreign countries， including Laos， Malaysia， Bangladesh， Myanmar and Vietnam.
