Professional display of props research and design

Abstract：With the progress of science and technology and modern art，exhibition space is not limited to a single form of expression.The use of display props is an invisible medium to convey information and culture to visitors. It should have diversified forms of expression to attract visitors.At the same time，we should also consider people-oriented. This paper discusses the application of display props in exhibition space from the connotation，status and types of display props.

1、Concept and category of display props

1.1Show the concept of props

Display props are used in the design of commercial space to set off products and match the display of commercial space design with the environment. On the one hand，its functions and functions have the necessary formal functions of placing，maintaining，supporting，hanging，and pasting，etc.，but also the most direct interface entity to form the image of display space and create a unique visual form.Display props are mainly reflected in display supplies，commercial facilities and equipment. From the perspective of space design，display props can be large or small，ranging from an ornament of a product to an important display object in the space.Display props for a space，is a unique force，a simple space to give the most dynamic vitality，and a new cultural value.

1.2Categories of display props

The main categories of display props are as follows：first，according to the functional requirements，they can be divided into display cabinets，exhibition stands，display boards and exhibition shelves;second，according to the structure，they can be divided into shell，beam and grid;third，according to the texture of materials，they can be divided into metal，wood and plastic;fourth，according to the use method，they can be divided into telescopic type，disassembly type and integral type.Display props can be divided into two systems，namely standard display props combination and unconventional display props combination.The standard display props mainly follow the standardized design principle，and the standard combination form emphasizes the structural principle of disassembly and reuse.It includes：pipe rack assembly structure，such as plug-in combination type，spherical node multi-directional screw fastening type and groove clip spring type;display cabinet combination structure，such as disassembly type display cabinet and folding display cabinet;display board connection structure，such as multi-directional clamping type，hinge clip type and two-piece tile clamping type.For the non-standard display props series，it is mainly designed for a certain or a certain type of exhibition items，also known as special display props，which are mostly used in exhibitions or museums.

2、Development status of display props in exhibition space

2.1The present situation of the application of display props

Nowadays，with the rapid development of economy and science and technology in China，people pay more and more attention to their living environment. At any stage，people begin to advocate green environmental protection and people-oriented，so the display of props is no exception.But in this trend，its development status is not optimistic.For example，in order to maintain themselves in the fierce market competition，enterprises often use special display form，that is，the exhibition theme is determined by the exhibiting enterprises according to their own theme，and the exhibition is specially designed with publicity image as the benchmark. The use of display props adopts non-standard design form，and non-standard display props are designed with enterprise theme.Although this kind of exhibition is in line with the development trend of the times，due to the strong pertinence of these non-standard props，they will not play any substantive role after the exhibition.

3、Analysis of the application of passing on display props in exhibition space

3.1Application design analysis of display props

The display props and display space can not be separated，and the display props themselves will also affect the space. Each display props has its own scope of influence and use in the display process. A new concept is formed around the exhibition equipment，so that the space in the field is affected by the display props，thus forming different display effects.Today，the scientific development concept of "people-oriented" is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. How to avoid excessive waste，excessive commercialization and excessive standardization in the application design of display props is becoming more and more urgent and important.However，due to the weak concept of sustainability in the society，as well as the overflow of money worship，at the same time，the design team has not developed in the direction of "standardization" and "specialization"，resulting in various alienation phenomena in the application design of display props.

conclusion

In the design of exhibition space，we know that people are always the main body in the exhibition hall environment. When we design and create the exhibition hall，we should pay attention to the harmonious unity of "people-oriented" design and "Object-Oriented" display.The design of display props is to minimize energy and resource consumption and environmental pollution on the premise of meeting the information display function.The exploration of exhibition props design to green design will promote the exhibition to embark on the road of "sustainable development".We need to continue to learn to use the humanized display props design to create a better display effect to meet the constantly updated exhibition needs of people.
