The Function of Ancient literature Education to Contemporary Social Culture

【Abstract】Ancient literature education is an important part of Chinese literature education as well as the history of Chinese education. The Chinese culture is broad and profound， with a long history and five thousand years of splendid characters. With the continuous development of modern society， we need to carry forward the cultural education of the Chinese nation， and take the experience of the ancients as the direction of the development of contemporary culture， so that the traditional culture of the new era can be revitalized and the new culture can also carry the glory of history. In ancient China， the concept of “l(fā)iterature” was very broad. Literature is closely related to philosophy， politics， thought， history and other cultures. Emotional education function. The main function and value of literature education is embodied in emotional education， which is The purpose of expressing emotions and thoughts. Literature originates from life， reflects life， and is higher than life. Literary works are the product of human soul reflecting social life and have the function of edifying sentiment. Marx once discussed the emotional education function of literature education， that is， the object of literature education creates the public who can understand and appreciate art. This sentence fully proves the emotional education function of literature education. Ancient literary works reflect life in a variety of vivid literary forms and perspectives. They not only expose and condemn the ugly things in social reality， but also praise the things through literary works， so as to enhance the audiences literary experience. When readers read these works， the thoughts of the works can infiltrate into the thoughts of the audience silently， forming a resonance with the inner qualities of the audience.

The educational function of psychology is healthy. Health psychology plays a very important role in peoples social activities and abilities. Want to improve personality， stabilize mood， give full play to intelligence， healthy psychology is premise. Only a healthy mind can realize the value and goal of life and make contributions to the society. Therefore， educators can make use of ancient literature to conduct psychological education and guidance for learners， so that learners can feel the educational function of literary works mental health and promote the development of learners mental health.

In ancient literary works， ancient poets always like to express their positive and optimistic psychology and express their compassion and kindness in implicit ways. In the education of ancient literature， educators can analyze the character and psychology of ancient characters through literature education， guide learners to learn the emotion of ancient characters， and explain the health psychology with the comparison between ancient and modern， so as to cultivate the ultimate goal of mental health education. On the basis of understanding ancient literature， learners should actively study and cultivate correct psychology， overcome various psychological barriers and strengthen their self-cultivation.

Aesthetic education function Aesthetic education is to cultivate learners correct aesthetics and aesthetics and improve their ability. Through literature education， learners can not only become a noble character， sound personality， physical and mental health of the people， but also promote the harmonious development of the society. Ancient Chinese literature has a history of thousands of years. Its culture is extensive and profound， with rich and strong aesthetic experience. When learners read ancient literary works， they will be subtly influenced by literary works and have different aesthetic ideas on literary works， such as environment， appearance， talent， dress and so on. All kinds of beauty reflected in literary works can make readers realize it slowly in the process of learning and reading. The beauty of ancient literature is implicit and unrestrained， educators should properly describe and interpret it in the process of education， so that learners can fully feel it in the learning process， and learners can deeply experience and feel the beauty of literary works.
