作為農村英語老師,我們通過學習英語新課標新理念,感觸頗深,受益匪淺。最令人印象深刻的是課程的雙重性“工具性和人文性”的統一,讓我們英語老師為英語教學增添色彩。
英語課程承擔著提高學生綜合人文素養的任務,即學生通過英語課程能夠開闊視野,豐富生活經歷,形成跨文化意識,增強愛國主義精神,發展創新能力,形成良好的品格和正確的人生觀與價值觀。
我們初二英語組理論聯系實際,做了課題:(課時:1課時)
Unit 4 How do you get to school?
Teaching and learning contents:(教學內容)
1.To learn language goals and grammar focus—talk about how to get to places.(學習交通語言,掌握怎樣運用交通方式的語法要點)
How do you/they get to...?How long does it take?How far is it?
2.“take”and“by”(學習“take”and“by”的用法)
3.To improve writing skills—two writing tasks.(通過談論交通方式,學習“take”and“by”的區別,提高學生寫作技能。)
Teaching aims:(教學目標)
1.To learn some new words and some new transportation,such as“subway,train by bus,take the bus”.
2.Have the students talk about how to get to place by some transportation.
To be able to use“How far is it?”“How do you get to school?”
Important points:(教學重點)
1.The words and useful expressions such as“take a bus”“by boat”“how far”“It takes somebody some time to do something.”
2.To make a conversation:by bus,take the bus.
Grammar focus.(Difficult points:教學難點)
1.To read and understand section A and B 3a(s).
2.To write a passage or a report about the transportation.
Teaching and learning process:(教學過程)
PartⅠ:第一步(通過多媒體進行教學,展示圖片,激發學生興趣)
Ⅰ.Lead in:To show some pictures about transportation:bus,car,boat,plane,train,on foot,(walk),bike,motor bike,and subway/railway.
T:In this unit we’re talking about one of our daily lives—transportation.
How do you get to school?
Two ways:根據變換圖片掌握運用多種交通工具方式.
①I take the train to School.
②I get to School by bus.
a train/by train;a car/by car;a boat/by boat;walk/on foot
a plane/by plane;a motorbike/by motorbike;ride a bike/by bike
Ⅱ.To work in pairs,ask and answer.(第二步雙相練習,根據圖片讓學生結對問與答)
How do you get to school?
I get to school by bus/on foot.
Or:I take the bus to school./walk to school.
Ⅲ.To do section A 1a.look at the picture and write down the way of transportation.(第三步看圖寫出交通方式,做section A 1a.)
Ⅳ.To listen to the tape and finish 1b and 2a,2c.(第四步聽錄音完成 1b and 2a,2c)
Ⅴ.To do a pair work by using the chart.(第五步表格練習)
Model:A:How does Bob get to school?B:He takes the train.
ChartⅠ:Name the means of transportation
Bob take the train/Mary take the subway/Paul walk/John take the bus
第六步設置情景對話的場景(讓學生在快樂的學習氛圍內感受英語的語言美,并加強對交通方式的練習。)
(教學反思:通過本節課的學習,讓學生初步掌握運用多種交通方式,激發學生的積極性,增進學生的創新能力,感受學習英語的樂趣。)
總之,通過學習新課程新理念,我們教師應注意在教學過程中因材施教,達到英語新課程的雙重性“工具性和人文性”的統一,為英語教學增添色彩。
