【Abstract】Since the grasp and application of the vocabulary is to improve the English scholars the essential condition of their English language skills, and vocabulary level difference is mainly by the students in different stages of learning motive attitude and method;In this paper from the particularity of students learning English vocabulary and the lack of self-learning English difficult this fact, from the perspective of vocabulary learning strategies, students English vocabulary learning strategies of non-english major self-study are discussed.

Vocabulary learning is an important part of English learning. The size of vocabulary directly affects the development of skills such as listening, speaking, reading and writing. The mastery and application of vocabulary is a prerequisite for language acquisition to improve their English language skills.
