Step I Lead in and warming up(5′)
教師活動: Showing pictures and asking questions.
學生活動:Discuss and describe what you see in the picture.
設計目的:通過設問,激發學生興趣及參與性;通過圖片,讓學生學習相關單詞,了解各類食物對人體的功能。
Step II Pre-reading (3′)
Today we are going to read the story about Wang Pings and Yong Huis running restaurant. Now look at the title and the pictures and guess what it will be about.
教師活動:Asking the related questions.
學生活動: 根據標題、圖片及問題,猜測故事大意及寫作意圖。
設計意圖:激活學生思維,提升學生猜測能力,明確寫作目的,懂得健康飲食的重要性。
Step III While-reading-comprehending(20′)
1.Skimming (4′)
Skimming and summarizing :exercise 4 on page11.
教師活動:教師用投影儀展示出文章框架。
Part 1 Wang Peng is worried because his restaurant is not as full as it usually is.
Part 2 He follows his friend to a newly opened restaurant which is very popular.
Part 3 Worried, he does some research to win his customers back.
學生活動:快速瀏覽課文,找尋主題句,概括大意。
設計意圖:訓練學生快速閱讀及段意概括的能力。
2.Careful reading (16′)

教師活動:多媒體展示原題,要求學生認真閱讀課文,尋找相關信息, 完成任務。
學生活動:認真閱讀課文完成任務,然后向全班匯報。

學生活動:認真閱讀課文完成任務,然后向全班匯報。
設計意圖:(1)訓練學生快速查讀細節、捕捉信息的能力。
(2)訓練學生駕馭長難句的能力。
Step IV Tape playing(4′)
教師活動:Playing.
學生活動:Listening and following, paying attention to the pronuncia-tion、tune、intonation and stress.
設計意圖:訓練學生的整體閱讀理解能力、聽力、語音、語調及跟讀能力及對文章關鍵細節的推斷能力。
Step V Extended discussion(延伸討論,5′)
教師活動:1. 結合課文理解,用多媒體展示練習5,引發學生深層思考。
學生活動:分組討論,收集信息,小組發言,選代表匯報。
設計意圖:(1)培養學生團隊合作精神。
(2)訓練學生英語表達能力。
(3)使整堂課上升到情感高度,讓學生獲得知識與心靈的雙重收獲。

教師活動:參照板書設計,小結鞏固文章大意及重點單詞、短語和句型。
學生活動:理解識記,鞏固消化。
設計意圖:提升課堂教學效果,深化主題。

1. Read the text aloud.
2. Write out a passage on any of the topics.
