摘 要:高清視頻等大容量業務承載會極大消耗網絡容量,擠占其他正常業務的服務資源,大幅降低網絡承載能力。傳統的網絡將傳輸的數據量作為滿足用戶需求的核心指標,常規信息論圍繞傳輸數據量建立了率-失真定理,表明在一定失真度量下,通信數據量無法突破收發端互信息量的下界,大幅降低通信數據量面臨互信息量下界制約瓶頸。但衡量網絡服務能力的根本是用戶體驗,而用戶體驗與網絡傳輸的數據量并不成比例關系。換言之,如果僅僅傳輸與用戶體驗密切相關的關鍵信息(面向QoE的信息),則可從根本上減少通信的數據量以降低業務對網絡的承載壓力。該研究面向“大容量業務信息表征及協同計算通信模型”,將智能化引入無線網絡領域,用計算及存儲能力換取通信能力,將引發新的服務變革。引入智能化實現面向QoE的移動服務,其本質難題在于無線網絡承載容量受限、移動終端能力受限,需要協同利用網絡環境計算資源和分布式編碼理論等。研究面向QoE的信息表征方法,探索協同利用網絡計算資源與無線通信資源的分布式協同編碼與計算通信理論,大幅提升受限無線帶寬的服務能力。

Abstract:High resolution video will cost significant network throughput and degrade the network performance. The tranditional network throughput as the key index of user requirement cannot be satisfied anymore. The traditional communication theory show that under certain distortion function,communication will degrade its bottleneck. However, the user exprience is the fundamental of verifying the netowrk performance. And it will not be scle of the transmission data. In other words, if we just trasmit the QoE-based information, we can solve the problem of network throughput limitation. Out topic is trying to let wireless networks become smart. We will use compute and storage capability to change the communiation capability.There are serveral challanges need to be solved in this topic and we may need cooprate network communication resources and distributed cooprated coding and computer communication theory.
