全球最長鐵路隧道在瑞士通車總長57公里17年建成

瑞士圣哥達基線鐵路隧道（Gotthard-Basistunnel）當地時間1日正式宣布通車。作為全球目前最長的鐵路隧道，該隧道總長度達到57公里。
這條隧道建設用時達17年之久，共耗資120億瑞士法郎（約合110億歐元）。作為阿爾卑斯新鐵路干線（英文AlpTransit，德文NEAT）的重要組成部分，該隧道通車后將縮短瑞士與歐洲其他國家之間的鐵路交通耗時，特別是將惠及歐洲南北走向的交通。
