黃奇帆會見ABB集團總裁兼首席執行官史畢福一行

6月3日，重慶市長黃奇帆會見ABB集團總裁兼首席執行官史畢福一行，雙方就進一步加強合作交換了意見。

黃奇帆說，近年來，重慶制造業保持良好發展勢頭，工業增加值、規上工業企業利潤增幅已連續幾年位居全國前列。當前，在繼續做大做強現有產業的同時，重慶還順應科技革命和產業發展趨勢，大力發展戰略性新興產業，努力形成新的增長極。ABB是重慶重要的戰略合作伙伴，希望在重慶未來發展過程中，雙方進一步加強合作，拓寬合作領域，在機器人、自動化控制等方面開展務實合作，共促發展。

史畢福表示，ABB看好重慶未來的發展前景，愿深化與重慶的合作，進一步加大投資力度，助力重慶發展。

母親河 王巖2015中國巡展重慶啟動

5月15日，英籍華裔藝術家王巖將她在英國普利茅斯大學開展的藝術攝影項目——“母親河”帶到長江流域重要節點城市重慶。

據悉，此次展覽耗時5年，圍繞長江沿岸的景觀、神話和價值觀，成就了一段橫跨中國大地6211公里史詩般的旅程。

王巖表示，從一個長期的藝術及調研項目，到一個成熟的攝影展，“母親河”不僅揭開了亞洲最長河流的神秘面紗，更給觀眾帶來視覺、認知和情感上的新體驗。她稱，“母親河”這一概念起始于她到英國約克郡居住后對故鄉中國的思念。從其他關于長江的拍攝影像中，她梳理出一種不參雜多余情感，直接源自視覺的獨特方式，來表達自己對故鄉的思念。

從2010年到2014年，王巖使用一臺大畫幅相機，用Google地圖將長江等分成63個點，每兩點間確切相距100公里，作品連續且有時間順序地排列，根據江水的流向而定。跨越的廣闊距離、宏大規模、以及長江的艱險條件都在王巖的作品中得到呈現。

該展于5月16日——6月5日在重慶中國三峽博物館首展，之后將同期登陸長江黃金系列郵輪，以《流動的母親河》作為平行展覽的主題，沿江而下，于7月登陸武漢美術館，并在9月的上海藝術影像展期間登陸上海斯沃琪和平飯店藝術中心。

第六屆中外棒球友誼賽開戰

5月24日，由重慶市人民對外友好協會、日本駐重慶總領館主辦的第六屆中外棒球友誼賽在重慶南開中學拉開帷幕。來自西南大學、重慶南開中學、城市獵人、國際聯隊等七支來自不同國家的隊員組成的代表隊展開“捉對廝殺”，為現場觀眾奉獻多場棒球視覺盛宴。

此次友誼賽分為軟式棒球比賽、慢投壘球比賽、正式棒球比賽三種形式舉行。軟式棒球比賽、慢投壘球比賽分別邀請兩支球隊出賽，決出優勝隊伍；正式棒球比賽邀請七支球隊參加，決出優勝隊伍。

中外棒球友誼賽始于2010年，每年舉辦一次，今年的主題是“快樂夢想、健康力量”，通過棒球文化圖片展、棒球教室親子體驗、棒球友誼賽等系列活動擴大棒球運動在重慶的影響，促進重慶市民對棒球運動的認識，提高重慶中學生和成人的運動水平，加深重慶市民與在渝外籍人士的友誼。

據悉，5月31日還在北部新區財富中心舉辦了軟式棒球親子樂園，活動現場設計了很多適宜互動的親子環節，讓孩子和家長在趣味游戲中體驗運動的樂趣，也能在快樂中更好地體驗運動精神。

拉脫維亞交通部國務秘書奧佐林斯訪渝將利用“渝新歐”緊密合作

5月24-26日，拉脫維亞交通部國務秘書奧佐林斯一行5人來渝訪問。在渝期間，代表團與重慶民生物流公司、惠普公司原始設計制造商廣達集團進行了座談交流，實地考察了沙坪壩區團結村鎮物流園和渝新歐鐵路運輸起點站，了解重慶汽車整車進出口途徑。雙方就共同爭取通過渝新歐鐵路運輸，打通重慶經哈薩克斯坦至拉脫維亞的物流運輸線路達成共識，并明確下一步合作目標和方式。

該代表團隨后還參加了于5月27至28日期間在渝舉辦的亞歐互聯互通產業對話會活動。

英國駐重慶總領事館舉行成立1 5周年招待酒會

6月5日，慶祝英國駐重慶總領事館成立15周年招待酒會在重慶中國三峽博物館舉行。今年是英國駐重慶總領事館成立15周年，也是中英兩國間的文化交流年，英國駐重慶總領事館將面向廣大重慶市民推出豐富多彩的交流活動。

英國駐重慶總領事館成立于2000年3月1日，該總領事館15年來一直致力與重慶各界開展廣泛合作，全方位推進重慶與英國的交流，雙方在貿易投資、文化藝術、科技與創新、氣候變化與能源、以及民間交往等方面的合作日益密切，取得了豐碩的合作成果。

今年是中英兩國間的文化交流年，英國駐重慶總領事館將推出涵蓋電影、音樂、繪畫等多個領域的交流活動，這些活動都將面向重慶市民開展。

俄羅斯薩馬拉州代表團來渝訪問

應重慶市人民政府外事僑務辦公室邀請，俄羅斯伏爾加河沿岸聯邦區薩馬拉州副州長兼經濟與投資部長戈本科一行3人于5月29日-5月31日來渝訪問。訪渝期間，代表團一行舉辦了與重慶企業家見面交流會，參觀了第18屆渝洽會展廳，與市政府外僑辦、市發展改革委、市外經貿委和重慶外經貿集團、小康汽車、力帆集團、中冶賽迪、新泰機械廠 、市人民醫院等重慶企業和機構就開展雙方在貿易、投資、物流、新能源汽車、冶金、機械制造、醫療衛生等方面合作事宜交換意見，達成了系列合作意向。

楓葉國際學校舉行建校20周年慶祝大會

5月29日，楓葉國際學校舉行建校20周年暨重慶校區建校6周年慶祝大會，該校中外師生及校友獻上了精彩的歌舞表演，共同為校慶獻禮。

同時，重慶市教育學會教育管理專業委員會、重慶三峽教育文化研究院，還在重慶楓葉國際學校舉辦了以“國際化教育背景下學校文化構建”為主題的高峰論壇，來自重慶教育界的代表們聚集于此，針對“‘國際化’是什么”、“怎樣通過文化構建培養國際化人才”......等相關問題，探討了在教育國際化背景下，基礎教育的發展方向。

據了解，自1995年大連楓葉國際學校創辦以來，楓葉國際學校已經形成融幼教、小學、初中、高中、外籍人員子女學校為一體的國內基礎教育領域完善的國際教育體系。據悉，重慶楓葉國際學校第四屆畢業生89人目前已收到總計240份大學預錄取通知書，預錄取率達100%，不少學生已收到不止一封預錄取通知書。

On June 3，Huang Qifan，mayor of Chongqing，met with president and CEO of aBB group Mr.Ulrich Spiesshofer and his group. The two parts exchanged views on further strengthening cooperation.

In recent years，Chongqing’s manufacturing industry has maintained a good development momentum，and its industrial added value，the profit growth of industrial enterprises with an annual revenue of 20 million yuan or more from their main business operations has been among the top in the nation level for several years，Huang said. Currently when continuing to strengthen and expand existing industries，Chongqing should also comply with the science and technology revolution and industry development trend，vigorously develop strategic emerging industries，and make efforts to form a new growth pole. as an important strategic partner of Chongqing，aBB hopes that in the course of future development of Chongqing，the two sides will further strengthen and broaden areas of cooperation，carry out pragmatic cooperation and promot common development in the areas of robot and automatic control，etc.

Ulrich Spiesshofer said that aBB is confi dent about the future development of Chongqing and it is willing to deepen cooperation，further increase investment，and boost development of Chongqing.

“Mother River Wang Yan 2015 China Tour Exhibition” Starts in Chongqing

On May 15，the Chinese-born British artist Wang Yan brought the “Mother River”，an art photography project that she launched in Polymouth University to Chongqing，the important node city of Yangtze River Basin.

It is reported that the exhibition costs 5 years and centers on the landscape，myths and values along the river，which accomplished an epic journey that crosses Chinese land with a total length of 6211 kilometers.

Wang Yan pointed that from a long-term art and research project to a mature exhibition，“Mother River” not only opened the mysterious veil of asia’s longest river，but also brought the audience visual，cognitive and emotional new experience. She said the concept of “Mother River” started from her yearnning for hometown China after living in Yorkshire，England. From other shooting images about the Yangtze River，she combed out an unique way that can express her homesickness. Such a way comes directly from visual arts without a hue of redundant emotions.

From 2010 to 2014，with the help of a large-calibre camera and the Google Maps，Wang divided the Yangtze river equally into 63 points，and the exact distance between two points is 100 kilometers. according to the flowing course of water，works are arranged in sequence and time order. The vast distance，grand scale，and dangerous condition of the Yangtze River are all presented in her works.

The exhibition was firstly held in Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum from May 16 to June 5. and then it will be loaded in the Yangtze River golden series cruise simultaneously，taking the Flowing Mother River as the theme of parallel display down the river，and then landed Wuhan art Gallery in July and the Swatch art Peace Hotel art Centre during Photo Shanghai in Setember.

The 6th China-Foreign Friendly Baseball Match Kickes Off

On May 24，the sixth China-Foreign Friendly Baseball Match co-hosted by Chongqing Municipal People’s association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Consulate-General of Japan in Chongqing kicked off in Chongqing Nankai Middle School. The seven representative teams with members coming from different countries from Southwest University，Chongqing Nankai Middle School，City Hunter and International United fi ghted closely with each other，offering many baseball-game visual feasts for the audience.

This friendly match is divided into three forms: soft baseball game，slow pitch softball game and formal baseball game. Soft baseball game and slow pitch softball game invited two teams to attend，and judged the winner respectively； formal baseball game invited seven teams to attend，and judged the winner.

China-Foreign Friendly Baseball Match was annual event since 2010，and this year’s theme is “Happy Dream，Healthy Power”. The aim is to expand the baseball infl uence in Chongqing，promote Chongqing citizens’ understanding of baseball，improve the sports level of Chongqing middle school students and adults，and deepen Chongqing citizens’ friendship with foreigners through the series of activities，such as the baseball cultural picture exhibition，baseball classroom parent-child experience and friendly baseball match.

It is reported that on May 31，soft baseball parent-child paradise was also held in the Fortune Plaza in Chongqing New North Zone （CNNZ）. There are many parent-child interaction links in the activity，which bring happiness of sports to children and their parents during funny games，and help them to better understandthe spirit of sports at the same time.

Kaspars Ozolins, State Secretary of Ministry of Transport of Latvia, Visits Chongqing

On May 24-26，a 5-member delegation headed by Mr. Kaspars Ozolins，State Secretary of Ministry of Transport of Latvia visited Chongqing. During their visit，the delegation had a symposium with Chongqing Minsheng aPLL Logistics CO.，LTD，and HP ODM Quanta Computer Inc，and made a fi eld visit to the Logistics Park of Unity Village，Shapingba District and the starting point of Eurasia International Railway. They have reached a consensus on the smoothing of logistics transit lines from Chongqing through kazakhstan to Latvia and clearly put forward the mode of cooperation and the goals in further development.

British Consulate-General Chongqing Holds the 15th Anniversary Reception Dinner

On June 5，the 15th anniversary reception dinner of British Consulate-General Chongqing was held in Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum. This year not only marks the 15th anniversary of the founding of the British Consulate-General Chongqing，but also is the Sino-UK Cultural Year. The British Consulate-General Chongqing would launch colorful exchange activities for the general public of Chongqing.

Maple Leaf International School Holds its 20 Years Anniversary Celebration Meeting
