1. This is my sister.

這是我的妹妹。

This is...是我們把一個人介紹給別人時的常用句型，也可介紹物品。當被介紹人處于近距離時，單數用this is，復數用these are，如：

These are my friends.

這是我的朋友們。（指代人）

Is this a map？

這是一張地圖嗎？（指代物）

注意：

（1）指代放在一起的兩樣東西，先說this，后說that。

This is a pen. That is a pencil.

這是一支鋼筆，那是一支鉛筆。

（2）向別人介紹某人時說This is...，不用That is....。

This is Tom. Tom， this is Jack.

這是湯姆。湯姆，這是杰克。

（3）在回答this或that作主語的疑問句時，要用it代替this或that。

— Is this a book？

— Yes， it is./ No， it isn’t.

（4）打電話時，介紹自己用this，詢問對方用that。

— Hello！ Is that Miss Green？

你好！是格林小姐嗎？

— Yes， this is Green speaking. Who’s that？

是的，我是格林，你是誰？

sister作名詞，意為“姐，妹”，復數形式為sisters。

I have two sisters.

我有兩個姐妹。

2. That’s my family.

that用于介紹處于遠距離的人或物，單數用that is，復數用those are。如：

That is my brother.

那是我的兄弟。

family作可數名詞，意為“家，家庭”。是以“輔音字母+y”結尾的名詞，變為復數時，變y為i加-es，即family→families。

family表示“家，家庭”，作主語時，系動詞用單數形式；family還可以作集合名詞，意為“家人”，作主語時，系動詞用復數形式。

My family is a big one.

我家是個大家庭。

My family are watching TV.

我的家人正在看電視。

There are two families here.

這里有兩家人。

3. Those are my parents.

那是我的父母。

those作代詞，意為“那些”，用來指較遠的人或物，是that的復數形式，系動詞用復數形式are，在句中可以作主語和定語。

Those are my books.

那些是我的書。

Are those your brothers？

那些人是你的兄弟嗎？

parent作可數名詞，意為“父親或母親”，即“father or mother”，常用復數形式parents，表示“父母”。

My parents come to see my teacher.

我的父母來見老師了。

5. Who’s she？

她是誰？

Who is...？ 句型常用來詢問人，表示“……是誰？”，其中who作疑問代詞，意為“誰，什么人”，在句中一般作主語或賓語。

Who is your English teacher？（作主語）

誰是你的英語老師？

Who/whom is your mother talking with？（作賓語）

你媽媽在和誰談話？

he，she的用法

she作人稱代詞，意為“她”，用來指代女性，在句子作主語。其對應詞為he，意為“他”。

— Who is the boy？

那個男孩子是誰？

— He’s Bill.

他是比爾。

Look！ She is my friend.

看，她是我的朋友。

第三人稱單數的代詞

人稱代詞代替人或事物。第三人稱單數的代詞有he，she，it。

he用來代替男性，例如代替my father，Mr. Wang等；she用來代替女性，例如代替my mother，a girl等；it用來代替動物、植物或無生命的事物、數據、自然現象、時間、距離以及不知性別的人，例如代替a pen，a cat等。

I see. 意為“我知道了，我明白了”，其中動詞see意為“明白，領會”。

see的其他用法：

（1）see作動詞，意為“看見，看到”。

I see a bird.

我看見一只鳥。

（2）see作動詞，還可意為“與……見面、看望、會見”，同義詞為meet。

Nice to see you.

見到你很高興。

The teacher wants to see you.

老師想要見你。

（3）see you. 常用作告別用語，意為“回頭見”，其答語也為see you。

— See you tomorrow.

明天見。

— See you.

好吧，祝你們玩得愉快。

well的用法

（1）well作感嘆詞，在本句中表示停頓后繼續交談，意為“噢，嗯”。

（2）well的其他含義：表示驚異、懷疑，意為“喲、啊、哎呀”；表示同意、讓步等，意為“嗯，好吧”。

Well， I didn’t think to see you here！

哎呀，我沒想到會在這兒見到你！（表示驚訝）

— Jim is angry.

吉姆生氣了。

— Well， perhaps that’s true.

嗯，也許那是真的。（表示同意）

have a good day的用法

have a good day為常見的問候語，意為“祝你愉快！”，其答語為“Thanks！ You， too.”意為“謝謝！也祝你開心”。

have a good day的同義短語：

Have a nice day.

Have a good time.

Enjoy yourself.

Section B

1. Here are two nice photos of my family.

這里有兩張我家人的漂亮照片。

這是一個完全倒裝句，正常語序為：Two nice photos of my family are here.

Here is/are...的用法

Here is/are...意為“這是……”，常被用來介紹身邊的事物。be動詞的形式應該根據最靠近be動詞的名詞的單復數而定。如：

Here is a book.

這兒有本書。

Here are some erasers.

這兒有一些橡皮。

但在here引導的句式中，如果句子的主語是代詞，則主謂語不倒裝。

Here you are.

給你。

Here it is.

它在這里呢。

photo是名詞，意為“照片”，是photograph的縮寫。photo是可數名詞，復數形式為photos。

The photo is Lucy’s.

這張照片是露西的。

photo的常用短語：

in the photo 在照片上

take photos 照相

a photo of... 一幅……的照片

photo與picture的區別

photo常指用相機拍攝而成的相片，即“照片”；picture通常指一幅圖畫，凡是有圖的東西都可以稱為picture，既可以指照片，也可以指畫。

This is my father’s photo.

這是我爸爸的照片。

This is a picture of my father.

這是我爸爸的一張畫。

of 的用法

of 作介詞，意為“……的；屬于（某人或某物）”。“名詞A+of+名詞B”相當于名詞B的所有格（“’s”或“’”）形式，如：

the name of the girl=the girl’s name 女孩兒的名字

He is a friend of mine.

他是我朋友。

This is a photo of Lily’s family.

這是麗麗的全家福。

I have four classes on the morning of Monday.

周一上午我有四節課。

2. In the next picture are my brothers， Bob and Eric.

下一張照片中有我的哥哥，鮑勃和埃里克。

next作形容詞，意為“下一個的；接下來的”，在句子中可以充當定語，修飾名詞或代詞。

next還可作副詞，意為“然后，接下去”，表示先后順序。

Next， we’ll have a party.

next to是介詞短語，意為“緊挨著”。

和父親同輩的叔叔、伯伯、姑父、舅舅、姨父都被稱為uncle；和母親同輩的嬸嬸、娘娘、姑姑、姨統稱為aunt；和自己同輩的男性哥哥、弟弟統稱為brother；和自己同輩的女性姐姐、妹妹統稱為sister；祖父、祖母或外公、外婆稱為grandma，grandpa。

丈夫husband，妻子wife，兒子son，女兒daughter，侄兒、外甥nephew，侄女、外甥女niece，堂（表）兄弟、堂（表）姐妹都是cousin。
