一、語言知識目標
了解并掌握現在進行時的用法;詞匯newspaper,read a newspaper,use,soup,make soup,wash,movie,go to the movies,just,eat out交際用語:①What are you/they doing?Im/Were/Theyre watching TV.②Whats he/she doing?He/She is doing homework.③Is he/ she watching TV?Yes,he/she is.No,he/she isnt.
語言技能目標:能用現在進行時的各種形式進行準確描述和表達正在發生的動作。
二、教學過程
1.導入:由一首英語兒童歌曲over the mountains開始我們的課并展開師生間的free talk
實施:T:Can you drive?S:No,I cant.
T:What can you do?S:I can...T:What can I do?S:Can you...?
T:Yes,I can.No,I cant,but I can teach you English.Now I am teaching you English.What are you doing?
T and S:We are learning English,so we are having English class.(進行時的句子都是板書)
說明:free talk環節是通過一開始上課時的一首英文兒歌引出的師生對話,一方面是為了復習前個單元學過的Can you.../What can you...?句型;另一方面是為了引出今天的重點即進行時態be+ving
2.呈現:借助幻燈片呈現出幾張班里同學的照片
實施:T:Who is this?S:Its...T:...,What are you doing?
S:Im reading(read-reading)板書。以同樣的方式教學(write-writing clean-cleaning run-running)板書說明:通過問答形式使學生對進行時有一定的了解并利用板書的形式使學生初步了解動詞的現在分詞變化規律。利用幻燈片,將課文中的一張公寓樓圖片呈現出來并通過幾張其中的圖片將公寓樓中的人物活動一一講述。
T:What is she doing?S:She is washing.T:Is he cleaning?
S:Yes,he is.T:What are they doing?S:They are...
用上述一些問句將talk-talking,wash-washing,exercise-exercising,watch-watching,listen-listening,make-making,use-using這些動詞的現在分詞進行教學,使學生能進一步對其有所了解,同時進行一些詞組的教學talk on the phone ,listen to a CD, make soup watch TV,wash the dishes,use the computer,read a newspaper,說明:該步驟利用看圖問答的形式既讓學生操練了What are they doing?Theyre watching TV.Whats he/she doing?He/She is doing homework.Is he/she watching TV?Yes,he/she is.No,he/she isnt.
這類含有進行時態的一般疑問句和特殊疑問句又簡單歸納了現在時態中動詞現在分詞的變化規律,還進行了課文中的一些短語教學。
3.操練:聽力訓練完成課文中的兩個關于進行時的聽力練習說明
由于之前做足了鋪墊,所以這兩個聽力訓練做起來相對簡單。Guessing game實施:準備了大量班里部分同學的照片,制成幻燈片,將其大部分遮住,讓其他學生來猜T:What is he/she doing?S:Is he/she doing sth.?T:Lets see Yes/No.說明:跟學生直接相關的猜測游戲很能激發學生的興趣,使得學生能在很自然的狀態下反復操練Is he/she doing sth.?Show yourself實施:make a sentence one by one,make a dialogue with your partner.說明:通過接龍的形式,讓每個學生看圖用進行時說一句話,同時兩人一組用進行時編簡單對話,目的是能讓每位學生都能有機會練習be+ving結構的同時,也能以人物的活動為主題和同伴展開簡單的對話。
