看看近兩年全國各地的高考英語卷,我們不難發(fā)現(xiàn),新聞報道這一形式的寫作在書面表達中頻繁出現(xiàn)。一般來說,這類新聞報道所涉及的多是同學(xué)們身邊的人或事。比如,2009年的全國卷要求根據(jù)圖畫,寫一篇關(guān)于班級植樹活動的報道;2009年的浙江卷要求以“Student Volunteers Brought Sunshine to the Elderly”為題,寫一篇報道;2010年的浙江卷要求根據(jù)班級“每周之星”李越的事跡寫一篇報道。當(dāng)然,有的時候也會要求根據(jù)調(diào)查或采訪資料寫報道,比如2009年的廣東卷就要求根據(jù)近視情況調(diào)查結(jié)果寫一則報道。
根據(jù)調(diào)查、采訪結(jié)果寫新聞報道,由于題目中會提供采訪內(nèi)容、調(diào)查結(jié)果,所以同學(xué)們不會無話可寫。而好人好事不一而足,題目往往也會提供寫作要點。至于班級活動,大多是同學(xué)們經(jīng)歷過的,所以題目中常常就只有些許提示,需要同學(xué)們自行展開聯(lián)想。我們不妨“未雨綢繆”,根據(jù)新聞報道的特點,對常見的班級活動的報道用語進行一些整理。
一、去敬老院幫助老人
(1)活動宗旨
關(guān)懷老人,提供幫助:In order to know about the eldly people living in the nursing home and offer some help.
(2)活動內(nèi)容
打掃衛(wèi)生:After arriving at the nursing home, we started working at once, cleaning the windows and sweeping the floor.
文藝表演:To entertain the elderly, we put on some performances we had rehearsed the day before.
陪老人聊天:Most of the elderly people in the nursing home were lonely, so we chatted with them in the yard to make them feel happy.
(3)意義和影響
老人的經(jīng)歷是寶貴經(jīng)驗:The elderly people’s life brings us a lot of valuable experience.
給老人帶去快樂,充實自己的生活:We bring happiness to them and at the same time enrich our own life.
理解“敬老”的傳統(tǒng)美德:After the activity, we learn why we should show great respect to the old.
二、去希望小學(xué)獻愛心
(1)活動宗旨
幫助貧困地區(qū)的孩子得到更好的教育:In order to help children in poor areas to receive better education.
(2)活動內(nèi)容
推廣良好的學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣,輔導(dǎo)作業(yè):We promoted the good learning habits and offered a helping hand with the children’s home work.
與當(dāng)?shù)貙W(xué)生結(jié)對子,輔導(dǎo)功課:We worked with local students in pairs to help them review what they had learned.
與當(dāng)?shù)貙W(xué)生聯(lián)誼、比賽:After school, we organized gatherings and matches with them.
捐贈書本、學(xué)習(xí)用品:Besides, we also donated books and other school supplies.
(3)意義和影響
使希望小學(xué)的學(xué)生對外面的世界有更多了解:The activity made the students from the Hope Project Primary School know a lot more about the outside world and become more ambitious.
