Abstract：NOW，Chinese American Llterature has developed a lot and is playing a very important rolein Anlerlcan Literature．Most 0f the works of Chinese Amencan writers deal wi’th the conflicts betweenChlChinese Amencans alld white Amencans．However，Henry Davld Hwang shows us a new view in his p|avFoB，which is the conflicts among the Chinese livmg in America themselves，espect‘aIIv the dissatisfaction alld出sdaln of the Amencan Born Chinese toward che Fresh off che Boat．Through the behavlors 0f Dale alldSteve in the play．who are me representan’ves ofthe“ABC”and“FOB”，we find that there exists conflictsbetween“ABC”and“FOB”．
