About Transformers 2電影內(nèi)外
Host: There is nobody hotter in Hollywood these days than Megan Fox. The young actress’ career has soared since her appearance in the first Transformers film two years ago, and she is back now in the nation’s new top movie: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Megan Fox, not our worst nightmare, is here with us this morning, good morning.
Fox: Good morning.
Host: What is it like to do a scene with a thing that’s not there? Do they give you something to, like especially that one?
Fox: Right, it’s always interesting, but that one, we had a weighted sandbag that was the 1)appropriate weight for the robot, and so I was actually holding it with those tools, whatever kind of tool that was, and fake wrestling with it.
Host: Stop, you mean you’re not really a motorcycle 2)mechanic?
Fox: I’m not.
Host: Oh my god.
Fox: I can’t even ride a motorcycle.
Host: How much has your life changed since the first Transformers two years ago?
Fox: Well, I mean I think the success of the first movie obviously opened a lot of doors for me career-wise that wouldn’t be opened had I not been a part of that film.
Host: Sure.
Fox: But in my personal life, I mean, it hasn’t changed that much, like people take my pictures a little more often, but other than that it’s still relatively the same.
Host: Sure. Ummm, I went to see it in 3)IMAX. Now have you, do you go, have you seen it?
Fox: I have seen it. I usually don’t watch things that I do because I’m very 4)neurotic about it…
Host: Yeah.
Fox: And I can’t sit through it, but I had to watch this because everyone was saying “Megan, it’s really good, like, you have to watch it if you’re going to promote it.” So I saw it, and it’s massive. I don’t know how you saw it in IMAX, I mean, without having a brain 5)aneurysm or at least a 6)migraine headache.
Host: And I was in the second row.
Fox: Oh my gosh!
Host: Yeah, and lived to tell about it.
Fox: You did.
Host: I’m not sure I understand it all. Are you supposed to literally understand what every scene is or what it means?
Fox: I don’t know if that’s…I mean I’m in the movie and I read the script and I watched the movie, and I still didn’t know what was happening, so I think if you, if you haven’t read the script and you go and you see it and you understand it you may be a genius.
Host: I think that might be it, there’s a whole genius class of some…
Fox: This is a movie for geniuses.
Host: Millions of people who go to see it, ’cause they applaud and they laugh, and there’s a whole…
Fox: Apparently people like it, which I’m excited about.
Host: Yeah, yeah.
About Early Days成長(zhǎng)生活
Host: Everywhere you look, every magazine you look at, there’s a picture of Megan Fox…
Guest: I know.
Host: Absolutely gorgeous! Where you from originally, anyway, Megan?
Fox: I was born in Tennessee.
Host: And when did you know you wanted to be an actress?
Fox: I told my mom I wanted to be an actress when I was two, because I was a big fan of Judy Garland, who I was…and I’ve been just wanting to do this ever since.
Host: What were you like as a kid? Were you gorgeous as a little girl?
Fox: No, no I was awkward most of my life, I think, and I was loud and 7)obnoxious, and really 8)opinionated, and not much different than I am today…
Host: How’d you to get along with all the other kids at that point? Well I understand they threw 9)condiments at you in school or something?
Fox: Oh, yeah, that was in middle school…
Host: In school you had a little tough time, didn’t you?
Guest: Condiments, what do you mean?
Fox: Condiments, in middle school, ’cause we had, I went to a public school where there were thousands of kids in public school, and, um, in the lunchroom kids would throw ketchup packets at me, or mustard, it was usually condiments, that’s what I was saying, it wasn’t food items, but it was…
Host: Because you were loud, or attractive?
Fox: Uh, no, I was not attractive.
Host: Oh, just loud, wow.
Fox: I think, just, yeah…
Host: I noticed a tattoo?
Fox: I do, I have a few.
Host: Who’s that?
Fox: That’s Marilyn Monroe.
Host: Oh sure, well she’s the…
Fox: Or Madonna, depending on how…
Host: Yeah, depending on how old you are.
Fox: Right, exactly. Um, I have eight…
Host: Eight?
Fox: …but that’s my last one.
Host: You have eight tattoos on your body?
Fox: I do, I do, yeah. I have a poem on my ribs. And then I have some script on my back.
Guest: Script?
Fox: Yeah, it’s a quote from King Lear on my shoulder.
Guest: What does it say?
Fox: “We will all laugh at gilded butterflies.”
Guest: Would you repeat that, please?
Host: “We will all laugh at…”
Fox: “…gilded butterflies.”
Host: “At gilded butterflies.”
Guest: Of course!
Host: King Lear!
