〔Abstract〕The paper gave an account of the background of Ningbo building a service -oriented education system at first，and then the authors outlined the skeleton o f the research about evaluating the performance of digital library.Secondly，the

authors discussed detailly the evaluation system of Ningbo Digital Library from

the evaluation level，principle，process，evaluator，object，method and index.Lastly， the authors presented several questions at the end of the paper，arousing people s reflecton.

1 背 景

2005年，寧波市政府頒發了《關于加快構建服務型教育體系，增強服務地方經濟社會能力的 若干意見》(甬政發[2005]74號)[1]，《意見》指出:發展教育，必須以服務經 濟社會為第一要務#65377;在此背景下，各在甬高校及科研服務機構紛紛調整自己的發展戰略，緊 密圍繞寧波市的經濟發展和社會進步建設和發展自己的教學科研事業#65377;作為為教學和科研提 供文獻知識保障的圖書館也緊密圍繞寧波市的經濟發展和社會進步調整自己的發展戰略，并 得到了市領導的高度重視和大力支持#65377;寧波市數字圖書館(簡稱NBDL)就是在此背景下，結合 國際國內數字圖書館的研究熱點和發展趨勢，由寧波市政府專項經費資助，在甬各圖書館共 同參與建設，為寧波社會經濟#65380;教育#65380;科技#65380;文化建設服務的文獻信息服務平臺[2] #65377;2007年11月21日，寧波市教育局#65380;寧波市財政局#65380;寧波市發展和改革委員會#65380;寧波市科 學技術局#65380;寧波市文化廣電新聞出版局聯合發文《關于印發寧波市數字圖書館項目建……
