學科信息門戶評價指標體系研究

〔摘 要〕學科信息 門戶是一種支持系統資源查詢的因特網服務，是當前網絡學術信息組織和開發利用的有效手 段，從某種意義上講就是網絡學術圖書館，可以幫助用戶尋找網絡上的高質量信息#65377;本文通 過分析探討制定并規范學科信息門戶評價指標體系的意義，從資源選擇政策#65380;系統功能#65380;維 護與更新#65380;個性化服務等方面提出關于學科信息門戶的評價指標體系的初步構想#65377;

〔Abstract〕The subject information gateway is a kind of internet service which can

support the search of systematic resources.It is a useful way in orgnizing devel oping and using academic information from the Internet and it is，in some way cal led“Internet Academic Library”which can help users to find out information of

high quality from the Internet.This paper is aimed to give a system of evaluatin g indexes from aspects of resources choosing policies，system functions，maintenna nce and updating and humanized services through the analysis of the necessity to

make standard rules to the evaluating index system of subject information gatew ay.

1 學科信息門戶的涵義

學科信息門戶是近年來伴隨著因特網的發展而出現的一個新名詞，英文全稱有“Subject In formation Gateway”#65380;“Information Gateway”及“Subject—Based Information Gatew ays(簡稱SBIGs)”等多種提法#65377;中文譯名為“學科信息門戶”#65380;“主題網關”#65380;“信息門戶 ”或“基于學科的信息門戶”#65377;目前被普遍接受和援引的是瑞典的Traugott Koch提出的學 科信息門戶概念#65377;Koch認為SBIGs是提供可檢索和可瀏覽的因特網資源目錄的聯機服務系統 ，集中于某一相關的學術領域，提供對經圖書館工作人員遴選和按學科組織的因特網資源的 利用[1]#65377;在開放式數字信息服務環境下，“學科信息門戶致力于將特定學科領域 的信息資源#65380;工具與服務集成到一個整體中，為用戶提供一個方便的信息檢索和服務入口#65377; [2]”與其他的網絡信息組織與檢索工具，如搜索引擎#65380;垂直網站相比，學科信息 門戶具有針對性#65380;可靠性#65380;集成性#65380;知識性#65380;智能性等突出特點[3]#65377;作為目前IN TERNET上最流行的信息組織與檢索工具，搜索引擎……
